The second flying prototype of the China’s FC-31 fighter jet has made its first flight, the Sandrermakoff blog reported.
In contrast to the J-20 aircraft, which was developed and is produced for the Air Force of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) in Chengdu, the FC-31 light fighter jet of a new generation is developed primarily for export. However, developers of the new fighter jet of the Shenyang Aircraft Corporation do not lose a hope to get a contract from the country’s Air Force or Navy in the future.

There is way I would import this unless China buys it.
This is obviously an F35 knock off. Does it come with the Cobra command helmet and the ability to control missiles fired from other locations like naval ships?
(BTW the Russians have had the ability to share missile control since the Mig-29 but in the U.S. military sites they make this sound like it is the most ground breaking technology ever and the thing that separates it from all other fighters)
Well, you gotta give the politicians something so they can warrant the inflated cost overruns to their electorates. New gizmos usually do the trick very well.
It’s looks like a bizarre hybrid between the F-35 and the PAK FA…
They will need a decent engine for it.
