Military Situation In Syria On April 17, 2019 (Map Update)

  • Deputy Defense Minister Lt. Gen. Helaluddin Helal announced that government forces had repelled a Taliban attack on Kunduz city. The attack allegedly involved over 250 Taliban members, including “foreign nationals”. According to pro-government sources, at least 18 people were killed and more than a dozen other were wounded as a result of the clashes in the area;
  • Clashes between the Taliban and government forces were reported in Jurm, Badakhtan province and Chan Ab, Takhar province;
  • The Taliban continues attacks on government forces in Bala Murghab, Badghis province. However, the Kabul administration has been able to contain most of them;
  • The Taliban released an official statement slamming the “Kabul list” of 250 government officials that would allegedly participate in the Doha conference on the Afghan conflict on April 20-21. “If any participant is affiliated with the Kabul administration as was the case in the Moscow conference, they shall partake in a personal capacity and express their own personal views as no one is allowed to represent the Kabul administration.”

Real Anti-Racist Action

This war has truly changed the face and landscape of Syria, Sadly I can no longer recognizance it, nor can I find some of the major cities that now I fear have been wiped off of the map by Israels air strikes.
