- Electric power imported from Uzbekistan was drastically cut in 11 Afghan provinces after two power pylons in Baghlan province were destroyed by “anti-government forces”;
- The Taliban announced that its forces had ambushed a military convoy in the Syed Abad district, Wardak province. According to the Taliban, 19 soldiers were killed and 13 vehicles were destroyed;
- Government forces’ vehicle was targeted by an IED blast in the Syed Abad district, Wardak province;
- The Taliban seized 25 villages in recent operations in the Baghlan-e-Markazi district, Baghlan province, the group’s media wing claimed. According to the group, at least 17 government troops were killed and 5 others were wounded.
