I forever see the Taliban carrying out attacks in government red zone areas but the green Taliban zones seem to be no go zones for the government , Years ago the Taliban used to stand and fight and more often than not get killed because they wouldn’t back down. Now they are smarter using hit and run methods with minimal losses. The US is never going to defeat the Taliban , never. But as long as the body count is not high no one cares how long they stay. Money to pay for it is printed out of thin air never to be repaid so that is not a problem. America has learnt to use others to do the fighting and dying while they direct from the safety of their bases so their body count is never going to be a problem. They came to kill Bin Laden and intend to stay forever.
