• 16 police officers were killed in a Taliban attack on the Ali Abad district, Kunduz province;
• An intense fighting between the Taliban and government forces is ongoing in the Gizab district, Uruzgan province. According to reports, 20 government troops and 18 Taliban fighters were killed;
• An increased ISIS activity is being reported in northern Afghanistan.
