A brief overview of the recent developments in Afghanistan:

  • At least 2 security personnel were killed in a Taliban attack in the Nahrain district of Baghlan province;
  • The Taliban announced that 45 government troops were killed and 4 others were captured in a recent series of clashes in Kunduz province;
  • 5 government fighters were killed and 6 others were wounded in a Taliban attack in the Kushki Kuhna district of Herat province, the group said.

The will and resolve of the Afghans is well known and no amount of technology will make any difference. It couldn’t be done in the days of the British Empire and it cannot be done today. The US/nato might think that they have the beast tamed but in reality it’s just biding its time, waiting for any opportunity.

The US and nato would have had more public support for their efforts if they hadn’t lied to us all along.
