A brief overview of the recent developments in Afghanistan:
- The Taliban claimed that 33 government troops were killed and 6 armored vehicles were destroyed in a series of clashes in the provinces of Takhar and Kunduz;
- 13 government troops were killed in Taliban attacks in the districts of Shalgar and Qarabagh, Ghazni province, the group claimed;
- Clashes between government forces and the Taliban erupted in the Shorabak district of Kandahar province. The Taliban claimed that 25 government troops were killed;
- The Taliban seized several checkpoints of government forces in the Arghandab district, Zabul province.
Bullshit. Taliban are always losing. They don’t control more than 8% of Afghanistan. Maybe only 4% and the other 4% is mountains.
