US State Secretary: 'Iranian Militias’ Must Leave Iraq

On October 22, US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said at a joint news conference with Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Jubeir in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, that it is time for “Iranian militias” that’s fighting ISIS in Iraq to “go home” according to Reuters Agency.

“Iranian militias that are in Iraq, now that the fight against Daesh and ISIS is coming to a close, those militias need to go home. The foreign fighters in Iraq need to go home and allow the Iraqi people to regain control,” Tillerson said.

According to Reuters an US official explained that Tillerson was referring to the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) and the Iranian Quds Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

However, the PMU consists of Iraqi forces with some Iranian support and assiastance. Considering this, Tillerson statement is either based on very poor understanding of the situation in Iraq, or it might be meant as propaganda, and nothing more.

Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi was also in Saudi Arabia when Tillerson made his statement. Al-Abadi’s visit to Saudi Arabia was the first visit of an Iraqi prime minister to Riyadh in the last 25 years.

During his visit Iraqi and Saudi officials discussed various issues including the reopening of the border between the two countries, financial corporation and joint work against ISIS and other terrorist groups.

“Let’s not cry over spilt milk. Whatever happened in the past has happened. The good news is we are all here toward building a prosperous and beneficial future for both countries,” Saudi Commerce and Investment Minister Majid al-Qusaibi told Reuters.

Lately the Iraqi government worked to restore its relationship with the Arabian Gulf countries, mainly with Saudi Arabia. However, the Iraqi government is clearly aiming at balanced relationships between Iraq and all of its neighbors including Iran.

Al-Abadi left Riyadh on October 22 to visit Egypt, the Iraqi Prime minister is also set to visit Jordan and Turkey in the upcoming days.

That’s fine as long as the US Military also reciprocate and go home along with their UK and French buddies and the CIA, British SAS and SIS and Mossad. However, this wishful scenario is most unlikely. Meddling in the Middle East is a long established US, UK and Israeli passtime. You’ll never get rid of them as long as the ME contains huge oil and gas resources that are need to underpin the otherwise worthless US$ and their economies. So, given this scenario, Iran has every right to be in the ME where she likes. After all it takes two to Tango! Ex EXXON – Mobile President Tillerson and Jubeir can quack all they like until both sides commit to leave Iran won’t – and who can blame them?

SyrianFighter

They never expect the Kurds to take that much place in Syria and make Kurdistan in Iraq, they see this as Golden opportunity to make their dream come true, get to the door of Iran. This zionists are all to blame for this “shituation” and the US are sucking so much D**k from the Israelis I can’t believe what I am seeing here, it turns out that the final word in all this now is in the zionists hands. First time to see the shity Israel to be that high. This , this is wrong this is bad path, this is hatred coming from Israel for the Shias.

wwinsti

They know the Iraqi gov. is in no position to double-cross the pmu. They are setting the stage for their next excuse for occupying Iraq, getting rid of “iranian backed terrism”. A more compliant government will be put in place as well.

Vitex

Maybe the foreign militias from the USA, Norway, France and Saudi Arabia can f*** off at the same time

Bolter10

Yep. Just wait till the war with Iran starts then what…

SyrianFighter

then it’s war

Ronald

Our job is to stop that war , if we don’t , Israel will be gone , followed by the rest of us .

Shylo Duffy

I couldn’t agree more who do the US think they are Ceaser? There is no such thing as empires anymore regardless what the US thinks. The whole world is tired of the hate that’s being spread all around the globe.I keep waiting in hope that the so called world leaders to grow a pair.

Gary Sellars

..’cept the “Iranian militias” are invited and legally entitled to be in Syria and Iraq, while Murica-backed terror groups are “illegal combatants”, to coin a phrase the Yanks used regularly during their failed attempt at occupying Iraq. Minions of the Uh’murikkkan ZOG can take a flying jump and go fuck themselves.

as

At this point US can just say whatever they want and will get no serious reaction. If the next day US announced that White is actually Black and Black actually pink others just say ‘sure whatever make you sleep well tonight’.

Imnos

The #USregime militias should leave Iraq, Syria … whole middle east once and for all, so there can be peace again

jerry hamilton

The decision on who should stay and who should go belong to Syria alone.
Certainly people there illegally should disappear quietly and without a trace.

AMHants

Isn’t Iraq a sovereign nation and not part of the US?

Barba_Papa

That particular distinction is already long lost on US politicians. Sovereignty only applies to the US itself, (henceforth the stink about socalled Russian interference), never towards other countries.

Elisabeth Jenders

As far as I know, Iraq does no longer have a constituton since the US invasion, but a Basic Law. (Just like Germany.) A Basic Law is a means to establish and maintain public order in an occupied country, according to Hague Convention of 1907. A consitution is for souvereign states.

AMHants

Thanks, I was wondering. So when the NATO illegally took out Iraq, it also depreived of sovereign state status? Yet, the Hague thought that was ok? Weird isn’t it just how the Hague Works and what it was set up for?

Elisabeth Jenders

“Hague” – it’s the site of the International Criminal Justice Court, true.
But I was referring to the Hague Treaty of 1907, concerning international law after after a war and how to proceed with a defeated state and its population.

andy l

Iranian militias are operating legally in both Iraq & Syria. Someone should ask Tillerson what are the legal grounds for the US being in Syria – NONE.

Melotte 22

“Iranian militias that are in Iraq, now that the fight against Daesh and ISIS is coming to a close, those militias need to go home. The foreign fighters in Iraq need to go home and allow the Iraqi people to regain control,” Tillerson said.

The audacity of exceptional idiots in Washington is astonishing.

RichardD

The US which illegally invaded from the other side of the planet to steal the oil and sow strife for Israel wants to stay, and wants the neighbors and relatives who were invited from next door to help out to leave. This type of talk is why Jewmerica is reviled and needs to go away to create a better future for humanity.

FlorianGeyer

The pogrom when it starts will be a joy to see.

RichardD

The Jews like to commit their crimes from behind the facade of officialdom. When they get expelled from those positions before the fight begins, it usually doesn’t go well for them. That’s in the process at this time.

Deo Cass

Actually it is the Zionist’s brain. A true Jewish brain is that which follows God’s commandnents and orders especially God’s punishment to the Jewish people for their renegation of the true God and their adoration of the Egyptian idols as clearly stated in the Holy Bible that “The Israelites shall have no land of their own until the end of times.”

Bolter10

Arrrgrggrghh – dont frighten us to death!

RichardD

They all belong to the same Talmud pedophile baby raping cult that needs to be outlawed.

Dont you mean Zionist not jewish?

Pour One Out for Ulysses S. Grant

October 2, 2017 Issue

Why, then, Adams’s famous dismissal? [Ron] Chernow makes a reasonable case that it was mostly class resentment. “My family is buried politically,” [Henry] Adams admitted, and he was right to think so; Grant wrote elsewhere that Adams’s family “did not possess one noble trait of character that I ever heard of.” With class animosities disguised as high-minded mistrust, Adams’s anti-Grant virus communicated itself to other “reformers,” who saw in Grant’s readiness to use the normal spoils system of civil-service appointments a form of rampant corruption.

What they missed, Chernow notes, was Grant’s remarkable advances in hiring minorities to federal positions. Small incidents of nepotism, Chernow maintains, have “overshadowed this far more important narrative.” Grant’s open affirmative action on behalf of the Jews—he “appointed more than fifty Jewish citizens” at one friend’s request alone, “including consuls, district attorneys and deputy postmasters”—was doubly significant given that, in a fit of anger at a handful of opportunistic merchants in the midst of the war, he had imposed an anti-Jewish ukase in one district under occupation.

Reading Chernow on Grant’s patronage practice, one may also start to cast a skeptical eye on the notion that “identity politics” is in any way a newcomer to progressive coalitions. Worrying about providing significant spoils to minorities—and women, too, who, though unable to vote, were still subjects of patronage—was half the political work that Grant had to do. His campaign theme for his eventual reëlection sounds positively Clintonian, in Chernow’s summary: “He had appointed a prodigious number of blacks, Jews, Native Americans, and women, and delivered on his promise to give the country peace and prosperity.” A group of reform Republicans—Henry Adams’s father among them—formed a party to run against Grant in 1872 on a confused platform of good government and support for renewed “home rule” in the South. They displayed a now-familiar refusal to believe that the real source of persistent racial resentment among their fellow-countrymen was persistent racial resentment. [emphasis added]

RichardD

Looks like a rewrite of history from the lying Jew media. A Jew specialty.

pogohere

You’re a great straight man. We make an excellent team. Thanks

RichardD

It’s unlikely that Grant ordered Jew eradication over a few merchants. I’m sure that his dislike of the Jew cult went far beyond that.

pogohere

You’re sure. Cool.

Someone said a foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds.

RichardD

It’s called common sense. Do you have any?

Terence Silvestre Jr.

I loved your comment and much more the mapping of the Jewish brain.
You could not be more right, my friend, I fear.

Richard Noel Hedditch

Did the Zionist ISIS dummy just say something ?

Ronald

A Shia leader of a nation at war, visiting four Sunni nations involved in that war , brave man .

Cheryl Brandon

Tiilerson, you are the owner of Iraq or Iran or Syria; You are well out of order to dictate to Arab leaders. Why don’t you get your unwelcomed/illegal squatters/terrorist and, those wearing uniforms out of Syria/Iraq; Why don’t you tell Israhell to stop funding and assisting terrorists as well. from the U$A . You cannot be shown to showing DIFFERENTIAL treatment as a diplomat! So either tell all including your U$A killers to get to F..K out of ME

chris chuba

They were born in Iraq you moron. This is why the U.S. foreign policy establishment shouldn’t be allowed to use sharp knives, let alone ‘run the Middle East’.

Antikapitalista

It is time for “U.S. militias” to “go home”. Not only from Syria, but also from the Baltics and from the rest of the world, too. :-P

gustavo

You dream. Maybe after WWIII, if any human being still exist.

Deo Cass

There is an urgent need for Iran to set in a legal military base also in Syria to counter balance the US and Zionist bases on Syrian sovereign land. Russia is no longer on Syria’s side and has obviousely capitulated to the US/Zionist/Saudi coalition. We need a reloable friendly nation with guts to face the foreign colonial imperialist Zio/US invaders and occupiers of Syrian sovereign land and help Syria regain its sovereignty and territorial integrity. Iran would leave only when the illegal US and Zionist occupation forces leave.

Deo Cass

Congrats, very good video documentary. However it leaves oit the major distabilozing factor in Iraq and also Syria. The Zionist entity of Israel and the US and their policy of divide and rule to gain dominance and hegemony over Iraq and Syria, which in fact is the major problem here and is being overlooked.

Kennethllindsy

Predicatable outcome in response to Trump being crucified in US media for letting Iran take Kirkuk.
This may be more than a warning. US already has a Coalition up and running in the region, so there are literally thousands of airplanes ready to bomb PMUs into oblivion if they don’t pull back from Kurdistan.
Coalition is already enforcing a No Fly Zone over Kurdistan, so it would be unwise to challenge Trump.

Vince Dhimos

Time for some S-400s in Iraq.

Kennethllindsy

Only problem is Russia has already achieved its strategic goals for the region, so any further moves just increase costs.

Vince Dhimos

It doesn’t necessarily have to cost Russia anyhing. China is backing Assad financially so if Assad wants his s-400s he would be able to buy them. I think, however, that Russia will hesitate to let them have the S-300s or S-400s because they could wind up using them on Israeil jets and that would up the ante hugely. Russia is eyeing the role of negotiator between the Shiites on one hand and the Saudis and Israel. This is possibly the most important thing to Russia right now. Russia wants to forge a new Pax russica and show the world what a bunch of sh….heads the US has been. If they succeed, this would be as big a diplomatic coup as winning the war on ISIS!

Vince Dhimos

How dare he? The US virtually destroyed the Iraqi economy and killed its agriculture under CPA head Paul Bremer starting in 2003. First the yanks killed 200,0000 civlians and then they killed the economy. Now they pretend they care about the Iraqis having their own way? How about their sovereign right to choose whom to invite into their country?

Tommy Jensen

All US clumbheads must leave Iraq. Americans have been clumsing around in Iraq for 25 years by now.

ruhm rahm

This is pure ignorance on the US secretary of State or classic propaganda rhetoric of conflating Iranian alliance with the PMU.. Every country should pull out their fighters including NATO, EU terrorists and Israeli Zionist scums

SyrianFighter

Are the for real, so now they really want to make this into a war with Iran, for the sake of the zionists my God almighty this Trump really want’s a lot of blood on his hands tho. He is very bad he doesn’t know politics he just acts in stupid ways. Wait is this Trump zionists himself or ? Jew! I have nothing against them but against BB and his corrupted government. Just watch the situation this will be now a war against Iran. But they will be very fucked if they start one because Iraq is with Iran the government in Iraq is Shia. So… Damn it they just want to wage wars and nothing more or less. Dirty politics.

Vince Dhimos

This is why the Iraqis have no reason to trust or listen to the US EVER again: https://www.globalresearch.ca/order-81-re-engineering-iraqi-agriculture/870

gustavo

Because Israel wants to.
