Turkish Security Forces Launch Large-Scale Operation Against Kurdish Militants In Country's Southeast

Turkish security forces have launched a large operation against the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in the southeastern part of the country.

On March 6, some 7,000 Turkish gendarmerie soldiers and 600 special forces troops, supported by battle tanks and attack helicopters, deployed to the Lice district in the prrovince of Diyarbakir.

The goal of the operation is to “neutralize” members of the PKK outlawed in Turkey.

According to the provincial governor office, 18 villages were placed under strict curfew until further notice.

the next turkish “little” genocide..

These troops look far more alert and well trained than those deployed in Northern Syria. The Syrian invasion is a diversion whilst the best Turkish troops are being used to kill their own people.
