New satellite imagery released on July 17 and prior days shows further damage caused by Iranian strikes on United States military facilities and related commercial sites in Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Jordan, the UAE, and Iraq.

Most of the imagery comes from the EU’s Sentinel-2 satellite system, while additional images of Jordan were released directly by Iranian state media.

In Bahrain, imagery reportedly shows two possible impact points at Naval Support Activity Bahrain, home to the U.S. Navy’s Fifth Fleet headquarters — one on a building or warehouse, the other at a separate nearby location. A dish antenna at the same facility, believed to serve as a communications terminal, was also reportedly struck.

Meanwhile in Kuwait, a logistics warehouse belonging to U.S. oilfield services company Halliburton, located in the Mina Abdullah industrial zone, was reportedly destroyed following a strike attributed to Iranian drones.

Over in Qatar, Sentinel-2 imagery shows a fresh burn scar within a warehouse complex at Al Udeid Air Base, an area reportedly used for munitions storage.

In Jordan, high-resolution satellite imagery reportedly corroborates earlier reporting on King Faisal Air Base, showing damaged warehouses, hangars, and troop barracks.

And in the UAE, imagery reportedly shows two hardened storage facilities and a warehouse completely destroyed at Zayed Military City in Abu Dhabi, with a fourth building showing signs of possible impact.

The UAE Ministry of Defense has described the incident as an accidental fire caused by burning wood and old ammunition in a single warehouse, but the scale of destruction shown in the imagery, along with matching satellite fire-detection data, has led some observers to dispute that account.

In Iraq’s Kurdistan Region, imagery reportedly shows a completely burned area with smoke still rising in the U.S. MIM-104 Patriot long-range air defense system site near Erbil Airport, following a wave of Iranian drone strikes said to have targeted the city.

Taken together, the imagery suggests Iranian strikes have grown more precise and more damaging, inflicting notable losses on American forces. It also points to a broader trend. Air defense networks fielded by the U.S. and its regional allies appear to be eroding under sustained pressure.

What began on April 7 as a limited exchange between Washington and Tehran is edging closer to a full-scale regional war. The memorandum of understanding the two sides signed last month — meant to bring the fighting to a close — now appears to be defunct in all but name.
