On the night of April 26, the Armed Forces of Russia delivered a combined strike on targets in eight regions of Ukraine. The Ukrainian Air Force recorded the launch of 144 UAVs from Russian territory.
Odesa region was the main target. The “Geran” strikes hit the port infrastructure of Illichivsk (Chornomorsk) and Odesa. In Illichivsk, warehouses, fuel reservoirs, administrative buildings, and cargo vehicles were destroyed. A vessel flying the flag of Palau, which was in port being loaded, was damaged. In Odesa, the port infrastructure that handles cargo loading and unloading was hit.
In Kharkiv region, in the Shevchenkivskyi district, an industrial zone was attacked. In Dnipropetrovsk region, in Dnipro, fires at oil depots continued for the second day. Targets in Kryvyi Rih were also struck — no details on the targets have been disclosed, but the scale of the fires (involving dozens of fire trucks) suggests fuel reservoirs.
In Chernihiv, a fire was recorded — presumably at a transportation infrastructure facility. In Sumy region, in Shostka, “Geran” UAVs attacked a gas station.
In Zhytomyr region, massive fires followed the attacks — exact targets have not been determined, but the scale of the fires is comparable to that of oil depots.

Strikes on Russian territory
This night was one of the largest mass drone attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Russian territory since late March. The Russian Ministry of Defense reported 203 UAVs shot down over 16 regions, as well as over the Black Sea and Crimea.
Sevastopol experienced one of the heaviest attacks since the start of the conflict in Ukraine. Ukrainian forces used drones packed with tungsten shrapnel. The goal, according to Russian sources, was to maximize civilian casualties. 34 apartment buildings and 17 private houses were damaged.

In Yaroslavl region, the Slavneft-YANOS oil refinery was attacked. A vacuum distillation unit — a key component of oil refining — is on fire.
In Vologda region, in Cherepovets, a strike was recorded on the Apatit chemical plant (Ammonia-3 nitrogen complex). A high-pressure sulfuric acid pipeline was damaged. UAV intercepts were also recorded over Belgorod, Bryansk, Vladimir, Voronezh, Kaluga, Lipetsk, Novgorod, Rostov, Ryazan, Smolensk, Tambov, Tver regions, the Moscow region, and Crimea.
In Tuapse, Krasnodar Krai, the cleanup of previous attacks continues. Over 2,500 cubic meters of contaminated soil have been removed following an oil products spill.
Ukrainian forces also released footage of the night attack on Crimea, claiming to have struck the large landing ships “Yamal” and “Filchenkov”, the reconnaissance ship “Ivan Khurs”, the “Lukomka” training center, the radio-technical intelligence headquarters, the “Mys-M1” radar, a MiG-31 aircraft, and the technical-operational unit of the “Belbek” airfield. The Russian side has not officially commented on these claims.
Overall, in April, Russia continued the systematic destruction of Ukraine’s railway, energy, and port infrastructure; Ukraine continued the economic strangulation of Russia through strikes on oil refineries, pipelines, and chemical plants deep inside Russian territory.
