A brief overview of the recent developments in Libya:
- Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar declared that the expulsion of Turkish forces from Libya is the LNA’s primary goal and promised to give Turkish-backed forces a lesson;
- According to the SOHR, Turkey deployed at least 17,000 Syrian militants to support the GNA battle against the LNA;
- Turkey is increasing its military and security cooperation with Niger aiming to create a foothold on the Libya-Niger border.
