The Israeli Prime Minister said that Tel Aviv will continue to strike Hezbollah targets on the Syrian territory.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has promised that Tel Aviv will continue to attack Hezbollah facilities, located in Syria. The statement was made just a day after Israel carried out airstrikes on the territory of the Arab country and admitted this fact.
On Friday, the Israeli Air Force entered the Syrian airspace and struck several targets near Palmyra city. The Syrian government claims that one of the Israeli fighter jets was shot down, while another one was damaged, as Syrian air defense troops launched several anti-aircraft missiles against the warplanes.
On Saturday, the Israeli Prime Minister said that the Friday’s airstrikes targeted a Hezbollah convoy, which transported weapons for the resistance movement.
“When we identify attempts to transfer advanced weapons to Hezbollah and we have intelligence and it is operationally feasible, we act to prevent it,” Netanyahu said. “That’s how it was yesterday and that’s how we shall continue to act.”
Meanwhile, on Friday, Israeli ambassador to Moscow Gary Koren was summoned by the Russian Foreign Ministry for clarification of circumstances of the airstrikes of the Israeli Air Force in Syria. The move was taken just a day after Israeli envoy presented his credentials to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Syrian military called the latest Israeli airstrikes “a desperate attempt” to support the Islamic State (IS) terrorist group, operating on the territory of the Arab country. According to a statement of the Syrian Army, the Israeli attack actually was aimed at positions of government troops in order to weaken their forces, fighting against the IS in the region.
Reportedly, Syrian military have strengthened their presence in the southwestern part of Quneitra province, including the Golan Heights region, after the Israeli airstrikes.
Earlier, it was reported that Israel provided medical treatment for Syrian militants and terrorists, transporting them to the Israeli-occupied Syrian territory of Golan Heights. Last September, an Israeli lawmaker said that the Israeli side was also directly aiding the Jabhat Fateh al-Sham (previously known as the al-Nusra Front) terrorist group in the Golan Heights.
Since 1967, Damascus and Tel Aviv have been technically at war due to Israel’s continued occupation of Syria’s Golan Heights.
Israel advantage is their airplanes.Otherwise Hezbollah will beat them .Ground their airplanes
It’s time for Russia to give Assad the operation of the S 400 to start shutting down the israeli airplanes, when they loose a dozen of them, they will learn to respect Syria sovereignty.
Israeli technology is home grown and is always innovative. Don’t think they Syria with the S 400 anti-aircraft system will totally be able to shut down Israeli airplanes like they did back in 1973.
Israeli tech is over-rated. Modern Russian weapons in the hands of Hezb Allah will be more than a match for any alleged jewish technical superiority.
Israel is the fourth largest exporter of arms in the world, how is that overrated?
therefore the paestinians guerillas should kill the pilots. prime target.
Israel’s disadvantage is their energy infrastructure, specifically oil/gas refining and transport. Low-hanging fruit for Hezbollah. Fighters don’t fly without JP4 and air defense does not work without natural gas-generated electricity. The problem with urbanizing a resource-poor area is that you eventually have to go kill someone else and steal their resources. Lebanon = water. Syria = oil and gas. The monster needs to be fed. The Leviathan gas will eventually help, but too late to stop Israel from pillaging its neighbors today.
You are correct. The most vulnerable of them all is the Nitrogen factory situated in Haifa. It’s designated as a primary target in a future conflict with Lebanon by Hezbollah. Only one missile needs to score direct hit and the rest will be history.
There is no victory without boots on the ground. Yemen is the proof. Israhell did to Lebanon exactly what KSA is doing now to Yemen. They conducted retaliatory sorties against civilian targets mostly. So how do you win a war like this? One thing is an advantage and another a war won. And do not forget that IDF would have collapsed long time ago unless for US bankrolling it.
just shoot the f35 down russia! show the world how usless that thing is
Do you really think that the Russians didn’t know and approve in advance?
Israeli planes are considered “friend” by the Russian anti-aircraft system.
there are no f-35, not until next year
israel got the 2 first f35’s mor ethan a month ago and it is using them in operations in syria…stop sleeping plz
bullshit. The F35s that Israel got will not be ready for operations until next year. stop spreading idiotic lies, even first grader are able to verify this.
damn you are stupid…look at the photos retard
what part of the phrase “New fighter jets don’t get into service as soon as they are delivered because an airforce has to do shit to prepare for their usage” does not get into your thick skull?
anyway: http://edition.cnn.com/2016/12/12/middleeast/israel-f-35-jets/
here, along with the usual zionist buffoonery goes the expression that makes you sound definitely idiot:
“The Negev air base has been preparing three years for the stealth fighters, which will not begin patrolling Israel’s skies for another year. But its arrival highlights the close ties between Israel and the US.”
israelis dont have to do that shiet they get them ready to go idiot….search better
lol, you brainwashed fucktard, since you’re so good at searching bring some fucking proof that the “israelis dont have to do that shiet they get them ready to go”. Wonder if you’re an elementary school kid or just an impaired fanboy, since i’m probably wasting time and keyboard usage dignifying your comments with replies..
i r right u r wrong…GEKE>>??
where’s the fucking proof
it here in this very site…search it cause i am not gunna serach it for you
so I provided a link and you didn’t .
actually i am kiddengarden,,,and still you cant compete me
Headchopping terrorist helper!
So ISUS brought high-tech weapons with them to Palmyra and now they have lost them. Israel is desperate to destroy them before they fall into the “wrong” hands.
If they say it’s about weapons, it’s probably not about weapons.
right. Israel has no problems if ISIS has heavy advanced weapons. But not Hezbollahz Lmao
ISIS aren’t 1% of the threat to Israel that Hezbollah poses. ISIS haven’t started 2 wars with them like Hez have.
lololol – it comments by itself.
bring it on Netanyahu u filthy whore
Something is different and strange in this story:
1. Why did Israel bomb far from their border, days after a meeting between Putin and Netanyahu ? What really was there?
2. Why did the Israelis admit it right away and Netanyahu himself Comments on it ?
3. Why did the Syrian fire antiaircraft missiles after the Israeli planes left?
4. Why did Israel operat the Arrow system?
I hope it’s not a trailer for a new war in the region.
Because this is just a movie they are making to make our reality. Non of this is real, just a play.
I have some doubts myself.
1. It’s the safest way to attack targets in another country, it’s their SOP. However, since Palmyra is so far inside Syria, they still had to enter part of Syrian airspace but still fired at range.
2. Netanyahu believes he has a right to attack targets in Syria and has never tried to hide that.
3. Because the SAA got tired of being attacked, what’s good for the goose is good for the gander.
4. Maybe they wanted to test Arrow, I find this strange since F15’s have their own counter-measures. Perhaps it was an attempt to use a layered defense.
Israel doesn’t just attack Syrian positions just like that, the targets are always convoys headed for Hezbollah in Lebanon. Though I admit when I first heard that the target was in Palmyra, I was a little surprised because first it’s so far from the Lebanese border (usually the strikes occur close to the Lebanese/Israel border) and as far as I’m aware Hezbollah doesn’t have fighters in Palmyra, but heck it doesn’t have to be a contradiction.
Maybe your faith in Israel is misplaced. The only proof of Israel only going after Hezbollah, is Israels word. Israel is part and parcel of ISIS. Their soldiers and intel people have been found in different areas of Syria(with IS), including KSA and Iraq. Is there Hezbollah in KSA, Iraq, Yemen? They give aid and comfort to wounded terrorists, not to mention weapons and intel. Israel is a country of liars and terrorists. They continually lie about their missions and losses. The last time they tangled with Hezbollah, they claimed they left Lebanon after mission accomplished…in reality, they went home with their tail between their legs and a bunch of body bags after having their asses handed to them. Yeah, they’re scared shitless of Hezbollah, because they endanger their hegemony in the ME. Nutty does what all psychos do, when caught in a lie, they don’t fess up, they double down on the lie. Go Hezbollah!
” Is there Hezbollah in KSA, Iraq, Yemen? They give aid and comfort to wounded terrorists, not to mention weapons and intel. ”
Citation needed.
The 2006 war in Lebanon was inconclusive, because all Hezbollah had to do was to hold on until the UN and US pressured Israel into a ceasefire, which didn’t really make Israel achieving its objectives possible.
I meant that tactically Israel avoids entering Syrian airspace. They prefer to fire into Syria from outside of their airspace.
BTW I do not believe it is wise for Israel to do this even if they were always targeting Hezbollah. They have on occasion intentionally targeted Syrian army positions in retaliation for mortar and artillery attacks saying, ‘Assad is responsible regardless of the source’. This obviously encouraged the rebels to fire into Israel to get Israel to attack the SAA.
1. But why so far away? If it was a Hezbollah convoy, Why not wait for them to move closer?
2. This is the first time that Netanyahu explicitly admitting an attack in Syria.
3. Until now there was a silent agreement that Israel could bomb the Hezbollah
in Syria. So why is Assad risking his aerial defense now ?
4. The Arrow system is designed for ballistic missile defense.
It seems that both sides are preparing for something else.
Israel is hardly the worst party in the conflict but they have lost my support and respect with these actions because they themselves chose to be a party and then picked the wrong side.
They bomb to support ISIS and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cities_and_towns_during_the_Syrian_Civil_War it’s probably no coincidence that the villages closest to Israel are all ISIS controlled.
Not all are ISIS controlled, others are Al Nusra controlled, I can’t say for sure if it’s a coincidence or not. I will say though that Israel technically didn’t take a side in the Syrian Civil War, when the media report that Israel strike Hezbollah and Syrian army positions it means Israel struck Syrian/Hezbollah convoy which contains Iranian weaponry headed for Hezbollah in Lebanon, Israel has a policy of making sure these convoys don’t reach their destination and has a green light from Russia in that regard.

How would Hezbollah get weapons around Palmyra? ISIS obsolete junk? Or some VIEBDs?
They don’t care about any weapons this is just to help the US/CIA prevent Assad gaining too much driving force in the Deir El Zor direction and prevent a total ISIS rout before Al Raqqa falls.
it could be. Or it also could be something different for which they used a cover story. If an Arrow-3 SAM did not fall into Jordan perhaps we would be reading something else, if anything at all. Yesterday the Syrian military reported that not a single israeli missile has hit their ground forces, and I’m not inclined to believe Israelis more than Syrians.
If IAF gets too involved in daily battles in Syria endangering Russian personnel, they will be shot down. They can use the S300 in conjunction with the Syrian air defenses.
USA/CIA , as you say is trying to stop Assad from retaking Deir Azzor , because with Raqqa and Deir Azzor , they own the eastern half of Syria , which is easily resupplied from Iraq .
“Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has promised that Tel Aviv will continue to attack Hezbollah facilities, located in Syria”…TRANSLATION…Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu promise to continuo PROTECTING their INTERNATIONAL TERRORISTS MERCENARY, I.S,I,S, that they are funding in Syria.
For how long Badanyahu will support terrorists in this world. Israeli game is nearly over in Iraq and in Syria. Left Turkey, Ukraine, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Yemen. Just we wait for new elections and the game will be over soon in these countries too.
And Syria will just keep downing ur planes ???
Already quiet a few have bitten the dust.
Yup, sorry, where is the popcorn ……..
I can think of several “things” and one thing is intelligence, mapping the ability’s and counter measurement capacity of your enemy, by as the situation is as we speak internationaly speaking, able to de facto do, to deep penetrate the enemy territory.
And when thats done, we can further speculate about the motifs, to protect ISIS, nope, I dont thinks so, to test Russia and Syria, yeah, for an more safe route, thru Syria and Russians, or/and for an long range suprice attach paths, thru Syrian land, witch is mapping largely terrain and weapon systems implemented, why not.
Remember, you are dealing with raving mad scums, first class a……. whom have no morale, no bottom, only greed and blood thirst.
And then we slide over to, whom did know what and what did they do with that.
Yeah, then everything becomes muddy waters.
And so on.
But to the architects behind the counter measurements, I say this was an wise move, dont flip the cards more than strictly nessesery, this is after all, standard IDF prosedyre and have been so for decades.
Against Lebanon and every body else in their vicinity, witch they dont like, expect ISIS witch they prefer instead of Assad, to bombing of Iranians inside Iran and killing scientists to, And the problems dont stop there, from the hideous Saudis to the Rotten to the Core Egyptians, lead by an Shepardic Jew, witch is basically an Israeli bitch even by family,, and this creep is suddenly, “trust worthy”.
You gotta be joking.
The Egypts are traitor’s, rotten people sitting there and watching the Palestinians die.
There is no word that covers how despised I am, by the present Egyptian Gov and its leaders.
Their cowardliness runs deep in their souls, like the fake jews..
Babylon must fall, we will never be free until its walls is teared down, this is an war against the dark.
So, after all, just another spastic move by the lunatics in Tel-aviv, because the Trump, whom is on his knee, where His head is firmly trusted as far up NothingButYahoho, ass its possible to go.
And the Tilted Tiller Thing raving in and about N-Korea, yeah, even Insane MaccaIn is silent and smiling happily.
Yeah like draining an little swamp, with sharks.
Yup, what could possibly go wrong.
And despite the rethoric, from everybody, incl, NK, they have handled this with care and so far, rational, their fears are legitim, by all standards, and the problem is infact the Imperial banana Republic Trumpistan.
peace
What does it take to silence this bloodthirsty jew-monkey?
The answer to all this may be an in unexpected twist from Syrian war. There are reports that Iran may get a reward for its efforts in Syrian war – a Mediterranean naval base on Syrian coast. This may explain what Netanyahu was doing in Moscow last week publicly denouncingt Iran at the official press conference. Apart from frying Netayahu’s brain, an Iranian naval base has large implications for weapons transfers to Hezbollah. They could be shipped directly by sea and taken into Lebanon through new routes, without the exposure that flights from Tehran to Damascus are subject to from Israeli intelligence observation. But equally any naval base would be quite near Russia’s base – with serious SAM air cover for air default protection. This may be what all Netayahu’s rhetoric is really all about.
we may possibly be witnessing the start of the ending of Netanhyau’s government. He seems to have started digging his hole quite fast. imho the quality of his options is deteriorating and being the hardliner he is does not help at all
Israel is Isis air support
Always do the opposite of what Jews say.
