On the night of July 26, Russian armed forces carried out a series of combined strikes targeting transportation infrastructure and military-related sites across seven regions of Ukraine. According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the attacks involved one Kh-59/69 guided air-launched missile, seven Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles, and 136 strike unmanned aerial vehicles.
The main strikes focused on port infrastructure in the Odesa region and facilities linked to drone production.
At the Port of Pivdennyi (Yuzhny), a warehouse storing military equipment supplied by Western countries to Ukrainian forces was hit. In the Port of Odesa, a long-range drone assembly workshop and a fuel tanker parking area were struck. Near the settlement of Novi Biliari, about 9 miles from Odesa, five fuel storage tanks were destroyed.
Later in the day, a container terminal handling military cargo at the Port of Chornomorsk was struck. Attack drones also targeted two bulk carriers operating in the Dnipro-Buh estuary that were reportedly delivering supplies for Ukrainian forces. Another bulk carrier was hit while transiting south of Odesa.
Footage circulated online showing the sinking of the vessel Golden Leo off the Odesa coast. Ukrainian media reported that the Turkish-flagged ship had been attacked on July 19 by three Kh-59/Kh-69 cruise missiles while departing port. One missile reportedly struck the starboard superstructure, triggering a fire on board. Reports indicate that three foreign bulk carriers en route to Ukrainian ports have sunk over the past 48 hours.
The strikes extended beyond coastal areas. In Kyiv, at least five ballistic missiles — launched using S-400 and Iskander systems — targeted two sites: Smart Intelligent Systems, an industrial enterprise involved in producing drones and components, and a drone assembly and storage facility in the city’s southwest. The latter site was reportedly capable of producing up to 1,000 drones per month with the involvement of specialists from a Ukrainian-American company, including AQ-400 Scythe, AQ-100 Bayonet, and RQ-100 Scout models.
Additional strikes were reported in other regions. In Izium, Kharkiv region, military warehouses were hit. Infrastructure at gas stations near the Kharkiv-Poltava regional border was destroyed.
In Zaporizhzhia, a Nova Poshta terminal was burned. In Chernihiv, the Khimtekstilmash plant — which produced nonwoven materials for drone coverings and missile components — caught fire. In Kryvyi Rih, a drone strike destroyed an Epicentr construction hypermarket, one of the city’s largest retail centers.
In Konotop, Sumy region, a Geran-5 drone struck an industrial complex, including the Motordetal-Konotop plant and a foundry-mechanical facility.
In summary, the strikes reflect a broad, multi-domain campaign targeting logistics, industrial capacity, and supply chains, with a particular focus on drone production and port operations in southern Ukraine.
