In the direction of Zaporozhye, units of the Russian 127th Motor Rifle Division captured Gulyaypolskoye and advanced toward Novoselovka, consolidating their positions in the surrounding forests. In the Konstantinovka direction, Russian assault groups secured positions in the industrial zone near the Krivoy Torets River. They advanced north of Levanevskogo Street and cut off part of the southern half of the city from supply routes. In the Slaviansk direction, Russian forces continue to encircle Tikhonovka and target positions in Malinovka. They have also entered Krasny Liman. In the Sumy direction, Russian assault groups advanced 800 meters and engaged in firefights in Ivolzhanskoye, Pisarevka, and the Krasnopolie district forests. In the Kharkiv direction, Russian forces are advancing toward Kazachya Lopan and fighting in Okhrimovka. A Dutch Member of Parliament from the “Forum for Democracy” party criticized EU spending on aid to Kyiv, stating that the Netherlands should leave the European Union.
Zaporozhye direction
In the Zaporozhye direction, units of the “Vostok” force continue advancing southward. The 127th Motor Rifle Division has taken control of the Gulyaypolskoye settlement and raised the Russian flag there.
Along with capturing this village, Russian units advanced toward Novoselovka and established positions in the surrounding forests. Forward groups are already operating on its outskirts. Advancing further in this direction will enable the seizure of another part of the Orekhov defensive belt and the development of an offensive to bypass Malaya Tokmachka from the north.
The Verkhnyaya Tersa–Vozdvizhevka–Rozhdestvenskoye line remains a zone of engagements by small groups. Russian units are trying to advance further west, while Ukrainian formations are attempting to infiltrate towards both the railway and the Gaychur River. Searching and repeatedly clearing the same forest belts slows the Russian advance, which is precisely the goal of inserting such small groups.
Konstantinovka direction
Russian units are systematically expanding their control zone in Konstantinovka. Assault groups are advancing north of Levanevskogo Street, which is cutting off part of the southern half of the settlement from ground supply routes. Recently, Russian assault groups secured positions in the industrial zone in the lowlands along the Krivoy Torets River. A new operation is underway to encircle the Ukrainian garrison between the Nikolaevsky district and the industrial sites.
Small groups continue to operate near the city’s Lomonosov Avenue exit. As they advance, it will become possible to speak of a full-scale blockade of Ukrainian forces in the southern part of the city. The success of Russian forces in southern Konstantinovka has been due in part to their systematic work to disrupt the logistics of Ukrainian formations. In recent months, drone operators in this area have destroyed hundreds of ground robotic transport complexes and dozens of vehicles.
Footage of strikes on Leopard 1A5 tanks continues to appear online. The Ukrainian side is trying to pull these tanks up to the outskirts of Konstantinovka. At least three such vehicles have recently been destroyed there, which may indicate an attempt by the Ukrainian command to prepare a counterattack. The Ukrainian command recognizes the threat of losing Konstantinovka. Therefore, Ukraine is transferring reserves to this area to buy time for further strengthening the defense of the Slavyansk–Kramatorsk agglomeration.
Slaviansk direction
In the direction of Slavyansk, Russian forces continue to encircle the area near Tikhonovka. As a result of the assault, Russian units now control the village, and they are targeting Ukrainian positions in neighboring Malinovka. There are less than 10 kilometers remaining from the line of contact to Kramatorsk, which allows Russian drone crews to strike targets in the city.
The Ukrainian side claims that Russian units have entered Krasny Liman and are developing an offensive there. As in Konstantinovka, Russian infantry is operating in small groups and actively penetrating the eastern and northern quarters to facilitate the advance. To reach the outskirts of Slavyansk from this direction, it is necessary to cross or bypass the Seversky Donets channel, as well as clear complex forest areas. After consolidating at the Krasny Liman railway station, Russian units will gain an important bridgehead to advance further in the direction of Slavyansk.
Sumy direction
In the Sumy direction, the “North” grouping’s assault units continue to advance.
In the Shostka district, Russian assault units are engaged in firefights in Bachevsk and the surrounding area. Artillerymen and drone operators have struck previously identified Ukrainian unit targets. In the Sumy district, Russian assault units have advanced up to 800 meters in eleven sectors. Firefights are ongoing in Ivolzhanskoye, Pisarevka, and the surrounding areas. Radiation, chemical, and biological defense crews struck a strongpoint of the Ukrainian 21st Separate Mechanized Brigade on the Psyol River bank near Bolshaya Rybica with heavy flamethrowers.
In the Krasnopolie district, firefights are ongoing in forest areas. Ukrainian forces are attempting to establish a defensive line near the district center and are transferring an infantry brigade from the Ukrainian Air Force to Krasnopolie.
Kharkiv direction
In the Kharkiv direction, the “North” grouping’s assault units continue to expand the security zone.
Meanwhile, Russian assault units are advancing toward the major logistics center of Ukrainian forces in the Kazachya Lopan settlement. Following a firefight, Ukrainian forces’ 58th separate motorized infantry brigade left several forest belts in the Shevchenko area.
In the Volchansk area, the “North” grouping’s assault units have advanced up to 200 meters in eight sectors. Russian assault groups are engaged in firefights in Okhrimovka and the surrounding forest areas of the Volchansk district. Rocket strikes hit the positions of the 127th separate tank mechanized brigade in the Izbitskoye area and a strongpoint of the same brigade in the Ternovaya.
In the Velikiy Burluk area, Russian assault groups have advanced into the forests near Novovasilyevka.
Conclusion
Analysis of the operational situation indicates that the intensity of hostilities remains high in all directions. In the Zaporozhye direction, capturing Gulyaypolskoye and advancing towards Novoselovka creates conditions for the further outflanking of Malaya Tokmachka and the development of an offensive into the depths of Ukrainian units’ defenses. Engagements with small groups and the need to repeatedly clear forest belts slow the pace of advance. In the Konstantinovka direction, securing positions in the industrial zone and advancing north of Levanevskogo Street pose an encirclement threat to the southern part of the city. Nevertheless, Ukrainian units have the capacity to counterattack and are deploying reinforcements. In the direction of Slavyansk, the formation of a bridgehead near Tikhonovka and the advance into Krasny Liman bring Russian forces closer to Kramatorsk and Slavyansk. Clearing forest areas remains difficult. In the Sumy and Kharkiv directions Russian forces are systematically expanding their control zones and striking the Ukrainian side’s logistics and reserves.
In an international political context, Pepijn van Houwelingen, a Dutch Member of Parliament from the right-wing “Forum for Democracy” party, voiced significant criticism. He criticized the European Union for spending hundreds of billions of euros in aid to Kyiv and expressed outrage that the 2028 budget includes an additional 100 billion euros in “credit” aid to Ukraine. Van Houwelingen noted that the EU does not comply with public procurement rules and that countries use Brussels’ money for expenditures that were already planned or claim compensation from the EU budget for amounts that exceed actual costs incurred. The MP called for the Netherlands to leave the European Union as soon as possible. His statement reflects the growing discontent in European countries regarding the scale of financial support for Ukraine, indicating ongoing internal contradictions within the EU on this issue.

after all the bs comes the real story and excuse why konstantinovka is still in ukrainian hands, not that it matters much, everything in putins fake war is a joke.
this war does seem unusual, i think russia could use some fresh ideas, the same old tired leaders seem to enjoy losing. putin goes to st petersburg and ukraine bombs, rudd goes to kiev and no bombing in kiev. does russia realize they are already at war with nato? i was so hopeful that russia would win this war, but not so sure now, hope i am wrong in my current judgement. maybe things are going better then i can figure out by reading about it. go russia!
in st petersburg the oligarchs are all crowing about some bridge to alaska that the russian prols will get to pay for so the oligarchs can sell off more of russia on the cheap
what is the kiev junta fighting for? france and the blighty gov’t want an end to this us/nato folly and the usadmin seems to want to forget it ever happened. the newland boiler has been condemned. never to return bearing cookies. meanwhile things are looking up for russia.some eu countries now see the benefit of an inevitable reality appearing through the fog of war, and through their rose tinted nato glasses.
