The Russian Airborne Troops (VDV) will get 144 amphibious infantry fighting vehicles BMD-4M and armoured personnel carriers BTR-MD Rakushka before the end of this year, the RIA Novosti news agency reported, citing the chief of the Airborne Forces’ staff, Lt. Gen. Nikolai Ignatov.
“By the end of the year, 144 units of the BMD-4M and the BTR-MD Rakushka will be delivered to the VDV and handed to the four battalions,” Ignatov said.
He also added that in the future all air assault divisions will be rearmed with BMD-4M.
Amphibious infantry fighting vehicles BMD-4M and armored vehicles BTR-MD Rakushka, manufactured by the Concern Tractor Plants (CTP), were brought to the Russian Army in April 2016, the TASS news agency reported on April 29, citing a source in the Russian Defense Ministry.
“The vehicles have been successfully tested and well performed during the military operation. The Russian Government Resolution on the adoption of the vehicles into service was published in mid-April,” the source said.
The question is… Will these be of any effect against the SAS in the coming war?
I think not. SAS live in holes in the ground, and attack such targets at night.
A different strategy is needed against SAS. One that works. Like pinpointing SAS hiding in holes in the ground at night.
SAS have a successful working strategy to destroy Christian-Russians, but so far Russia has yet to produce a working strategy to destroy SAS.
Maybe Russians fear SAS, as SAS slip in and out of Russia on a weekly bases and plant sensors all over the place all the time. More then Russia even knows about.
Yes sometimes Russia special forces find these sensors in the ground and destroys them (the media never knows) by I happen to know factual information that less then 10% of these sensors are ever found by Russia.
This has been Mi6’s strategy to destroy the Christian nation of Russia for 9 years now.
And they have then on both sides of the Norwegian border and other places inside of Russia as well.
