In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian units, including the “Volunteer Corps,” gained control of Minkivka and Pryvillia during engagements. In the Slaviansk sector, units operating north of Krasnyi Liman forced Ukrainian forces out of Aleksandrovka. Fighting continues for control of the western part of the village in the Zakotne area. In the southern section, clashes for control of Nykyforivka persist, and Russian forces advanced in Minkovo. In the Kostiantynivka sector, Russian assault groups expanded their control over the approaches to the city. They advanced toward strongpoints in the area of the former anti-aircraft missile battalion. They also established control over a section from Predtechyne. This expanded the gray zone to the outskirts of Kostiantynivka. In the Pokrovsk sector, the most intense fighting is near Hryshyne, where Russian units have consolidated their position within an agro-industrial complex. In the Czech Republic, the president and the government are in a public dispute over the potential transfer of domestically produced subsonic combat aircraft to Ukraine.
Kramatorsk Sector
In the Kramatorsk sector, units of the Russian “South” grouping, including the “Volunteer Corps,” are engaged in intense combat and have achieved tactical advancement. The main effort is to consolidate success and expand control over key settlements and heights.
Despite numerous and stubborn counterattacks, Russian forces have taken control of Minkivka and Pryvillia. Additionally, advances have been noted north and south of Novomarkove along the Siverskyi Donets–Donbas Canal. A notable achievement was displacing Ukrainian units from the dominant heights northwest of Zaliznychne and reaching the line between Bondarne and Prylvillia. These actions covered the flanks of the advancing units and created more favorable conditions for attacks in two directions: towards Tykhonivka and towards Kramatorsk, as well as towards Nykyforivka in the direction of Slovyansk.
Simultaneously, on the left flank of the Krasnyi Liman sector—which is operationally linked to events near Kramatorsk—units of the 25th Army of the “West” grouping breached the defenses in the Ozerne area. After capturing the village, the units advanced south toward the Siverskyi Donets River and reached positions north of Kryva Luka.
Slaviansk Sector
In the Slaviansk sector, active combat operations are ongoing with varying degrees of success along different segments of the front. North of Krasnyi Liman, Ukrainian forces were pushed out of Aleksandrovka. In the Svyatohirsk area, strikes were delivered against concentrations of forces in fortified positions on the elevation southeast of the city, near Tatyanivka.
Russian troops fully control the eastern and northwestern parts of Zakotne. However, fighting continues in the western part of the village, and Ukrainian units regularly attempt to counterattack from the direction of the chalk slope. Russian forces are using the captured strongpoint on the height to exert fire influence on positions on the chalk slope, as well as on fortifications in the direction of Kryva Luka and Kalenyky, with the aim of weakening the groupings.
There are fierce engagements in Reznikivka, where the Ukrainian army is also counterattacking with equipment. Nevertheless, Russian forces have advanced approximately 1.5 km in the northern part of the settlement. Small groups periodically attempt to penetrate Sviatoho-Pokrovske, but these attempts are thwarted, and the settlement remains under the control of Russian forces.
Kostiantynivka Sector
In the Kostiantynivka sector, the offensive by Russian “South” units continues to develop systematically. Despite counterattacks, the control zone on the approaches to the city is gradually expanding.
Earlier, Russian assault groups reached a major strongpoint near the traffic police post. There is now evidence of further advancement to the northeast, indicating the establishment of full control over this position and part of the adjacent forested area. This success enables further attacks towards the outskirts of Illynivka. Capturing Illynivka is important for establishing a favorable line for subsequent operations. Russian fighters are also advancing toward fortified points in the area of the former anti-aircraft missile battalion positions.
Heavy fighting continues in the eastern part of Kostiantynivka itself. Clearing the tree lines near Predtechyne has enabled more Russian assault groups to enter the city. Infantry is gradually accumulating in the built-up area and advancing toward the center.
In the Kleban-Byk Reservoir area, Russian units on the northern bank have linked up and are conducting clearing operations. Local groups of Ukrainian troops hiding in forested areas are offering resistance, but they are being systematically eliminated.

There has been an advance from the highway towards Kostiantynivka and Illynivka, but full control of the settlements has not been established; fighting is ongoing. Russian forces are advancing toward Berestok from the east, firing on positions within the village.
In the Predtechyne area, Russian units have advanced on a broad front and established control over a section on the eastern side of the settlement, nearly reaching its center. The fighting is extremely complex, but according to available data, the main fortifications have been captured. Meanwhile, the so-called gray zone has grown to encompass the outskirts of Kostiantynivka. Attempts by Ukrainian counterattacking groups to advance from Novodmytrivka are being thwarted by Russian drone operators, artillery, and aviation.
Pokrovsk Sector
In the Pokrovsk sector, Russian forces are expanding their control zone near the recently captured cities. The most intense fighting is occurring near the Hryshyne settlement, where Russian forces are attempting to infiltrate the outskirts of Pokrovsk with infantry.
The consolidation of Russian “Center” units on the grounds of the destroyed “Invest” agro-industrial complex has been confirmed. Assault groups are trying to take control of nearby fortifications, which would allow them to attack Hryshyne from the east. The situation at the neighboring Druzhba horticultural association remains unclear. The Ukrainian army has previously counterattacked in this area. After the agro-complex came under Russian control, the defenders’ positions became disadvantageous; however, they can still be supplied by heavy drones.
In other areas of the sector, the situation remains relatively stable. There have been regular attempts by small groups to infiltrate basements on the outskirts of Rodynske, but they have not succeeded in regaining control of the city. It seems that the main goal of these actions is not to recapture lost territory, but rather to slow the consolidation of Russian forces in new areas and buy time to organize defenses around Dobropillia.
Sumy Sector
In the Sumy sector, assault units are advancing quickly across a wide front. Aviation, strike drone crews, and artillery are providing active support. Ukrainian forces are regrouping and withdrawing units that have suffered losses to the rear for recovery.
Advancements were recorded on nine sections of the front in the Sumy district, three in the Krasnopillia district, and three in the Hlukhiv district. The total advance depth reached 800 meters. Russian artillery continues to strike identified targets in the Ryzhevka and Iskriskivshchyna areas.
Kharkiv Sector
In the Staritsa area, Russian units advanced along four fronts. Aviation and heavy flamethrower crews struck the positions of mechanized brigades. In the forested area near Liman, assault troops seized two strongpoints and advanced 550 meters. In Volchanskie Khutora, they advanced 200 meters and captured and secured an area of terrain. On the Melovoye-Khatneye section, assault groups advanced along tree lines on six fronts, gaining 700 meters per day. Aviation and heavy flamethrower systems destroyed Ukrainian positions in Khatnie, Dolzhanka, and Hryhorivka.
In order to maintain control of the Khatnie area, Ukrainian forces are reinforcing their units with foreign mercenaries, presumably from Colombia, whose units were previously disbanded. Special units are also being transferred to the sector to conduct counterattacks.
Conclusion
In the Kramatorsk sector, the successful capture of Minkivka and Prylvillia, as well as reaching the Kopanky gully, creates the conditions necessary to advance the offensive directly towards Kramatorsk and towards the flank of the Slavyansk sector. In the Slaviansk sector, the situation remains dynamic. There is consolidation in Zakotne and Prylvillia, as well as heavy fighting for Reznikivka and Nykyforivka. In the Kostiantynivka sector, Ukrainian units are gradually being squeezed out of the approaches to the city through the capture of strongpoints near the traffic police post and in Predtechyne. This is creating conditions for a possible envelopment of the urban agglomeration.
In the Pokrovsk sector, the focus is on consolidating gains and fending off counterattacks in the Hryshyne area, where both sides are vying for control of critical infrastructure. In the Sumy and Kharkiv sectors, the strategy of constant tactical pressure is being implemented, allowing for daily advances across a wide front. This exhausts the defense and forces the Ukrainian army to constantly regroup and use its last reserves, including foreign mercenaries.
Against the backdrop of developments on the battlefield, discussions about the scope and nature of support continue in the political circles of the countries providing assistance. In the Czech Republic, the president and the government are in a public dispute over the potential transfer of domestically produced subsonic combat aircraft to Ukraine. While on a visit to Kyiv, President Petr Pavel stated that several such aircraft could be rapidly transferred to combat drones. However, Czech Minister of Foreign Affairs Petr Pištora subsequently criticized this statement, noting that the president did not coordinate this issue with the government and that his remark likely reduced the probability of such a transfer. The MFA head also pointed out that the L-159 Alca aircraft, which were discussed, are actively used by the national armed forces and that the question of their free transfer is not on the table. This incident exemplifies the ongoing internal disputes within European countries concerning military aid, where symbolic political gestures frequently clash with practical capabilities and the requirements of national armies.
