On January 16th, Ukrainian forces launched another wave of drone strikes on the Russian territory. At night, Ukrainian UAVs targeted Russian Western regions. According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, 27 Ukrainian drones were destroyed by Russian air defense in four regions. They included:
- 15 UAVs in the Belgorod region;
- 7 UAVS in the Voronezh region;
- 3 in the Tambov region;
- 2 in the Kursk region.
As a result of the attack, an oil depot caught fire in the area of Liski in the Voronezh region. The local governor confirmed the damage, claiming that according to preliminary reports, there were no victims.
In total, over the past 24 hours, Russian air defense forces have shot down three guided Hammer bombs, 12 HIMARS MLRS missiles and 95 enemy aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles.
On the other hand, the Russian military attacked the infrastructure of the military airfields of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The targets also included places of production and assembly of Ukrainian drones. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The Ukrainian media also reported that Russian military UAV was spotted flying over the center of the Ukrainian capital Kyiv. Ukrainian deputies claimed that Russian Gerean kamikaze UAV was flying in the area of the Verkhovna Rada in the center of the city. The local mayor Klitschko reported on the work of Ukrainian air defense on a drone in the center of the capital. As a result, it wreckage fell in the Solomenskiy district, damaging a car. the longer the striking range of udf becomes, the more vulnerable russian infratsructure will become. not only the army will suffer, civilians as well.
russia has been very careful to avoid civilian casualties during this conflict. it could well change if kiev wishes it to.

if you read all the western media including voa /bbc fox news etc they all say how ukrainian defences include western supplied radar emissions that block russian drones/uav,s and they boast about it .the telegraph a uk newspaper reveals russia is using a new type of ew resistant drone using fibre optics and even shows the new designed aerial dated 10-1-2025.
russia are so farked. oil industry getting attacked every day, storage tanks destroyed every day, pipelines destroyed, ships being seized, sovereign revenues being seized, us and europe now preparing sanctions on al industry and a 15th package of sanctions. us preparing new sanctions to force russia to negotiate peace. uk making 100 year agreements with ukraine to control russia shipping in the black sea. blockading russia completely is being prepared by eu.
does russia have any oil industry left, certainly they don’t have spare parts to repair the damaged specialised equipment in the refineries. nuclear industry going to be sanctioned. russia are so farked and the eu us blockade is coming. russia will soon be cut off from the world like north korea and cuba.
