ISIS propaganda has provided a video dedicated to the group’s activities in Nigeria. The main part of the seventeen-minute film consists of attacks on government troops in the states of Borno and Yobe. The attacks were made in the spring period, before the leader of Boko Haram, Abu Bakr Shekau, was killed.
This video is published for informational purposes only and is not aimed at promotion of any prohibited organizations.
The video demonstrates a series of attacks on units and checkpoints of the Nigerian Armed Forces, as well as roadside IED explosions. In one of the attacks, the militants used armored vehicles, in one of which the Swiss Mowag Piranha is guessed. Also in the video, there is an execution. The victims of the executioner, whose role was played by a teenager, were two servicemen.
In general, the film depicts that ISIS propaganda remains at the same high level of quality, and militants still pose a serious threat in the region.
