Cabo Delgado, the northernmost province of Mozambique, seems to be turning into a new hotbed of ISIS in Africa. In less than a year, the local branch of ISIS has significnatly strengthened its influence in the region and is now conducting open attacks on government forcesc and key objects of infrastructure.
Just recently, ISIS members killed 2 government troops and seized their armoured vehicle there, according to the ISIS news agency Amaq.
