A brief overview of the recent developments in Libya:

  • The SOHR claims that 260 more members of Turkish-backed Syrian groups arrived in Libya;
  • Clashes between the Libyan National Army (LNA) and the Government of National Accord (GNA) are ongoing near Tripoli Airport;
  • Turkey deployed I-HAWK PIP-3 and MIM-23 Hawk air defense systems at Mitiga Airport;
  • Eastern Libya ports controlled by the LNA are shutting down oil exports after protesters stormed them. The reason is that the GNA uses the oil export revenues to pay Turkish-backed forces fighting on its side.

A few ISIS rats from Idlib are not going to make much difference even though the situation is similar in that the local population hate their guts and will want to see them gone.

It has been a while since USMIC murdered Qaddafi and most of his family. However the Libyan’s are bouncing back and their progress has been rapid. We may yet see a gold Dinar.
