Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant In Center Of Military & Diplomatic Storm

Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant In Center Of Military & Diplomatic Storm

The security situation around Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant remains very tense amid reports on the talks on the establishment of a ‘safe zone’ around the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant has been developing.

On December 3, Rafael Grossi Director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency claimed that IAEA expects that the safe zone agreement could be reached in the nearest future. According to him, the agreement is ‘on the table’.

Earlier, the head of Rosatom Aleksey Likhachev stated that that the security mechanism discussed with the IAEA does not allow any shelling of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. Likhachev stressed that there are no Russian offensive weapons or strike forces at the facility and only defensive means are used there.

It should be noted that on November 25 RT quoted Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia’s envoy to international organization in Vienna on the same topic:

“In terms of setting up a physical and nuclear security zone at the plant, there needs to be an international monitoring of the agreements,” Ulyanov said.

“And it has to be effective, otherwise the [accord] would just be an empty sheet of paper. This is the issue that we are discussing with the IAEA Secretariat.”

The problematic side of the situation is that IAEA leadership and Western diplomats continue to pretend that they do not know who is shelling the nuclear facility or even blame Russia for strikes of Kiev’s forces on it. So, making any deals in such conditions seems to be at least questionable because the result of such move could be easily imagined: Kiev’s forces will continue to strike the nuclear facility or even attack it, while ‘international community’ will blame Russia for it.

Another factor is that these recent diplomatic developments took place amid the intensification of Kiev’s forces in Zaporozhie Region, where the nuclear power plant is located. The current point of tensions in the area is the contact line in the countryside of Orehov and Gulyaipole towns as well as the southern outskirts of Kamenskoe village. So, Kiev seems to be ‘ready’ for the deal already.

No doubts that such news cause a deep dissatisfaction among the Russian patriotic community that sees any agreements with sides that do not keep their promises as unproductive. And these feelings are especially strong following the events that were observed around Kiev, Kharkov and Kherson during the previous stages of the Russian military operation in Ukraine.

Counterfire happens, and if the ukranians keep up the shelling eventually russian forces will be able to track and develop out the ukranian gun positions with sufficient accuracy as to plan an air strike and make those guns fall silent. Russia’s pretty good about that kind of thing

The fact that the IAEA is willing to see the Ukie gangsters take control of the Nuclear power plants suggests that the IAEA is either corrupt or being coerced by the USA.

If you had said to me just 21 years ago that this could happen in a war zone with the U.$. deliberately instigating it’s destruction as a “hostage” if the Federal Re$erve doesn’t get the Russian Federation to maintain it’s $USD Reserves -I would have said NO ONE could EVER be that insane.. But than we got this and the $ilent partner(s) in China and India that helped carry the water for it https://www.911research.wtc7.net/wtc/groundzero/cleanup.html that left G.W. Bush and The “Dick” Cheney in the White House without a demand for an investigation that should have seen them and their accomplices in the Hague swinging from the end of a rope instead?…

And instead?… 21 years later we have China, India and Russia still at the UN when they should have started their own charter with the same rules to say “Never Again in Our Names” after they knew the truth about Ground Zero immediately after those 3 buildings fell!….

Someone at SouthFront will let us all know when China and India plan to make that bold statement that because of the Western provocation at Zaporozhye nuclear power facility and the danger it represents to humanity in the U.S./NATO in those efforts including the Maidan coup in 2014 as the worst war crimes that an attack on Russia is an attack on the PRC and India which will see them resign their position(s) at the UN immediately to begin a new UN charter in Asia -won’t you?

LOS UKRONAZIS DEBEN ESTAR DESESPERADOS Y CAPACES DE CUALQUIER LOCURA COMO USAR BOMBAS SUCIAS CON BASURA NUCLEAR ALTAMENTE VENENOSA POR EJEMPLO 100 KILOS DE VENENO NUCLEAR INUTILIZAN UNA GRAN CIUDAD PARA SIEMPRE SI SE HACE EXPLOTAR ALGO CON ESE VENENO ETERNO
