Xi Jinping tells Obama to stay away from Spratlys

The Chinese state news agency Xinhua reported that the Chinese President Xi Jinping has warned against the violation of Chinese sovereignty and undermine its national interests under the pretext of freedom of navigation in the South China Sea.

The remarks came on Thursday, during Chinese President’s meeting with US President Barack Obama on the sidelines of the Nuclear Security Summit in Washington.

According to Xinhua, the Chinese President Xi Jinping said that China will not tolerate actions aimed at violating its sovereignty and breaching its security interests under the pretext of freedom of navigation in the South China Sea.

“China respects and protects the freedom of air and maritime navigation of all countries, based on international law. At the same time, Beijing will not accept any action that damages China’s state sovereignty and national interests under the pretext of freedom of navigation,” the Chinese President pointed out.

The United States will abide by its commitment not to take sides in the South China Sea dispute and will play a constructive role in ensuring peace and stability in the region, as hope expressed by Xi Jinping

China’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei slammed Washington’s military build-up in the South China Sea last month by accusing the US for militarizing the disputed waters by conducting patrols.

However, the South China Sea has become a place of tension between the Chinese and the west.  Several analysts suggested that the US has been backing and influencing the Chinese neighbors to stand against China in order to implement the US policy to contain China.

Every year $5.3 trillion of trade passes through the South China Sea, $1.2 trillion is U.S. trade. More than half of the world’s annual merchant fleet tonnage and a third of all maritime traffic worldwide travel through Chinese waters.

there isnt much more america can do to needle russia- who also is decimating america’s runaway dog isis. china is simply the next on the list to be the official bogeyman. whomever really owns those islands is completely irrelevant to a country on the other side of the world. china has never blocked commercial ships passing through there before, and even if it threatened to, the only reason america can claim it is their business is because they think they are the World Police Dept.

They want to deny China strategic naval depth though. America ceases to be relevant when it stops projecting power.

Eurasia doesn’t need it only the Americas do really. It will probably fall back there & consolidate after failing here.

Feel sorry for ppl of latin america, they are in for hard times.

Americans don’t need it either. But the greedy Rothschild cabal in their City of London, want everything, and currently use the U.S. to try and get it.
