A 21-year-old Syrian refugee has killed a woman and injured two other people in the southern German city of Reutlingen on July 24.
The man used a machete and was arrested by police after the attack. There is information on when the man arrived in Germany.
The assailant was apparently acting alone, the police spokesman said.
It was the third act of violence in southern Germany in 10 days.
