Syrian troops have repelled an ISIS vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (VBIED) attack at the Sukhna-Deir Ezzor highway.
According to pro-government sources, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has destroyed the VBIED and few terrorists that had been preparing to attaack an SAA checkpoint after the supposed VBIED explosion.
However, the ISIS plan failed.
Time to purge the entire desert and colour it red
SAA is so slow these days that I think they are trying to starve ISIS in the desert instead of fighting.
How fortified can ISIS be out there? They took Al-Bukamal in few days, now weeks have gone and there was almost no advance.
Well that is a nice thought to starve them to death but i prefer kill em fast now then move all troops to elsewhere like Hama, Jobar and Idlib
Probably getting a well deserved rest while waiting to be resupplied.
