A new video appeared online October 12 confirming that the Syrian Arab Army and its allies have reached the al-Siyasah Bridge north of Deir Ezzor city.
The bridge is a key facility located north of the ISIS-held part of Deir Ezzor city. The area had been serving as a supply line to ISIS units operating inside Deir Ezzor.
Now, this supply line will be cut off.
This is good news as well as (hopefully) preempting a US attack on this infrastructure.
Do you think the bridge is still intact?
Reported destroyed by US in 2016. Likely not destroyed as in gone but as in unusable for vehicles.
Russia and Syria can easily whip up a bridge and solve that problem. They have shown their skills, with regards bridge building tasks. Remember?
I doubt that it is but the access roads would be and its a short boat ride across the Euphrates then to other access routes.
There are a couple places broken but it’s mainly intact so this is a huge coup as this could help the SAA claim the Oilfields as the SDF are being pushed back from them.
THE SUPPLY LINE FROM THE SDF, USSA AND THEIR MASTER ISRAEL TO ISIS IS CUT OFF.
