On the hallowed grounds of Red Square, Russia once again demonstrated its indomitable spirit during the grand Victory Day parade, celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Soviet Union’s historic triumph over Nazi Germany. Under the watchful gaze of the Kremlin’s spires, the nation honored the immortal heroes of the Great Patriotic War while showcasing the strength and unity of modern Russia. The parade was not merely a commemoration of the past but a powerful testament to the courage and resilience that define Russia today. The event, one of the most significant in Russia’s calendar, combined military pageantry, historical remembrance, and political messaging amid ongoing global tensions.
The military display served as a powerful show of strength, with 12,000 troops from the Russian Armed Forces, National Guard, and cadet corps marching in precise formations. More than one and a half thousand parade troops are participants in a special military operation in Ukraine. There are 20 heroes of the Russian Federation, 44 St. George cavaliers, and 54 cavaliers of the Order of Courage, who were awarded for bravery and bravery in combat missions. The parade was a breathtaking spectacle of discipline and power, as thousands of servicemen and women marched in perfect unison.
The ground shook as advanced military hardware rolled across the cobblestones—T-90M tanks, Yars intercontinental missile systems, and cutting-edge S-400 air defense units—proving that Russia’s defenders stand ready to face any threat. The parade featured both legendary and state-of-the-art military equipment. In total, the audience saw 130 units of special and military equipment. For the first time, the Orlan-10, Orlan-30, Zala, Lancet-51, Lancet-52, Harpya and Geran drones were presented at the Parade.
High above, the skies roared with the precision flight of Su-30SM and MiG-29 fighters, painting the air with the colors of the Russian flag. The message was clear: just as the Red Army liberated Europe from Nazism, today’s warriors safeguard the sovereignty and future of the Motherland.
Tributes to veterans and historical legacy formed an emotional core of the celebrations. President Vladimir Putin delivered a speech emphasizing “the lessons of history” and Russia’s role in defeating fascism, while making veiled references to current conflicts that drew both domestic applause and international criticism. In a stirring speech, President Putin drew a direct line between the heroism of World War II and the sacrifices of Russian soldiers today. He condemned the West’s attempts to erase the Soviet Union’s decisive role in defeating Hitler, warning that history’s lessons must never be forgotten.
The parade carried significant geopolitical undertones and served as a platform for domestic messaging. Held against the backdrop of Russia’s prolonged involvement in Ukraine, Putin framed the ongoing war as a continuation of the fight against “neo-Nazi ideology.” While Western leaders largely boycotted the event, dozens of allies sent delegations, reinforcing Russia’s diplomatic ties.
The parade was graced by the presence of foreign leaders and military delegations from allied nations, who joined President Vladimir Putin in honoring the shared victory over fascism.
Their attendance underscored the enduring bonds between nations that value true sovereignty and reject the distortions of history pushed by the West. Together, they stood against the modern-day forces seeking to undermine global stability, just as their predecessors united against a common enemy eight decades ago.
Next to Putin, Xi Jinping is watching the Victory Day Parade on the podium. Soldiers of friendly armies pass by the stands. North Korean military personnel sit in the front row as guests of the Victory Day Parade in the stands of Red Square. Putin paid special attention to them, warmly thanking personally the commanders of the Korean units.
The 2025 Victory Day parade stood as both a solemn tribute to the sacrifices of WWII and a display of modern military power. While honoring the past, the Russians reinforce national unity and justify its current geopolitical stance. As Russia moves further into the 21st century, Victory Day remains a cornerstone of its identity.

let’s be honest — russia’s military sucks. we were all told it was the second
most powerful military in the world. a global superpower. a force to fear. but then ukraine
happened. and suddenly, the “mighty” russian war machine started looking like a rusted-out relic
from the cold war.
the truth? it was all smoke and mirrors. the tanks? falling apart. the strategy?
stuck in the 1970s. the leadership? corrupt and clueless. and the troops? starving, surrendering,
or worse. this isn’t just failure. it’s a full-blown military embarrassment.
aren’t there any children, or women and civilians, for your heroes to kill today? gtfoh
are you talking about ukraine? ukrainian forces were trained by nato? an offensive union, that has not won anything since the day of their creation. russia, a self dependent nation, that can feed it’s people and the world, can provide affordable energy, free healthcare and free education, to their people. russia a nation with minimal debt, healthy currency reserves, low taxation for the people. can ukraine or the west provide the same?
ha ha ha. your propaganda is childish. go bed and drink some warm milk. you eu warmongers are pathetic….
why did this
supposedly world-class military stumble so badly? in practice, the actual scope of the invasion,
with the initial military strategy, was bound to fail from the start. you see, the land invasion
of kyiv, and the subsequent one in donbas, was the backdrop for an attempted coup of the entire
ukrainian government. the first critical battle of the war was not fought on any of the frontlines
between kyiv and moscow but at the kyiv airport.
what are you on about? russia has fought the nato militaries in ukraine and been gentle with them. russia has not declared war on ukraine, hence taking it softly. ukraine and the western states who support ukraine, also have not declared war on russia. russia being gentle with ukraine, has resulted in novorussia and crimea returning home to russia and not forgetting ukraine no longer has a gene pool. how many ukrainian citizens have been sacrificed for blackrock investors?
where russians are stumbled? i haven’t seen that from 2022? only west has stumbled. russia takes an area, and there will be no guerrella action left. unlike in irak, somalia and afganistan. that is the reason why us lost. and the reason why russia is winning.
the equipment issues were further highlighted by reports from early 2023 of
russia deploying soviet-era t-62s—and even older t-55 museum pieces. footage and analysis suggested
these tanks were effectively obsolete in modern tank-to-tank warfare, better suited for static
defensive roles than frontline assaults.
russia kept back their best toys. what does that say about nato weapons and systems? when they have thrown all they have at russia, with zero effect? ukraine sacrificed their gene pool for blackrock investors and also russia’s novorussia and crimea have returned home. what have nato and ukraine got for their efforts? despite laughter from 80% of the world and some extra pride banners to wave.
how about abrams? thow about leopards? he latest and finest, rubbish. the kiev operation was diversion. and successful. russia gained large parts of peoples repupblics in one night.
so, it took less than a year for russian strategists to move the goalpost from “invade and capture the entirety of ukraine” to “create a defensive line
with old tanks to prevent the ukrainian military from recapturing donbas.” and that wasn’t all
who said that russia was going to ‘invade and capture the entirety of ukraine’? seem to remember president putin writing to the un, to warn them that russia would denazify and demilitarise ukraine.
you can still find the letter sent to the un, in this context, in accordance with article 51 (chapter vii) of the un charter, over on the kremlin website. easy to read and understand, if you can read.
2)
here is a small section: ‘… the purpose of this operation is to protect people who, for eight years now, have been facing humiliation and genocide perpetrated by the kiev regime. …we will seek to demilitarise and denazify ukraine, as well as bring to trial those who perpetrated numerous bloody crimes against civilians…
it is not our plan to occupy the ukrainian territory. we do not intend to impose anything on anyone by force. ..’ vp
what are you talking about? before opearion was announced clear notification. “free donetsk and luhansk peoples republics from the attacks and discrimination of ukraine”. free novorussia, not whole ukraine.
go screw yourself you useless, cowardly, piece of human shit.
don’t be stupid putin didn’t want to escalate into ww3 by rushing in and wnhiliating ukraine and btw if you paid attention you would know europe and america were all arming funding ukraine too.
lets be honest i never thought that russia could defeat one million soldiers and mercenaries armed with all kind of modern nato weapons, moreover be able to advance in forest, mine fields, trenchs using bikes and donkeys, thats why nato fear a direct confrontation with russia and ask for a cease fire.
every time macron passes a matryoshka doll in a shop, he hides in the stairwell, thinking the russian army’s going to pop out. heheheh
general armageddon will be next russian president.
putin free ukraina
general armageddon will free germany after putin..
proč nám tu pořád musíte dokazovat jak jste totálně hloupý a nevzdělaný. zkuste dohnat mezery ve vzdělání, které očividně máte.
really? so riddle me this, if what you say is true, then why has novorussia and crimea returned home to russia? why is there no ukrainian gene pool left? why have the us and nato got no toys that can intercept russian hypersonic weapons, in active service? why have nato and the us got no toys that can penetrate the russian air defence systems? why have russian toys made all in the nato arsenal impotent?
whatta hec you are saying? full of nosence propaganda…. the “mighty” us and eu war machine start looking rusted. hyped f-16’s rubbish. hyped himars rubbish, hyped abrams rubbish, hyped patriots rubbish. russia takes land every day. us lost afganistan, lost somalia, lost vietnam, lost irak afterall. and list goes on.
a humiliation
for putin. and it’s unraveling in real time. the world watched in horror as russian forces poured
across ukraine’s borders in what was supposed to be a lightning-fast “special military operation.”
according to putin’s calculations, which were even backed by some western analysts on the first day,
kyiv would fall within days.
russian generals reportedly packed parade uniforms, expecting
to march victoriously through the ukrainian capital within 72 hours. as we know by now,
that never ended up happening. while russia did invade ukraine and got as far as the
outskirts of the ukrainian capital, the initial invasion stalled spectacularly. russian forces,
despite overwhelming numerical superiority on paper, faltered and lost any momentum
they might’ve had from the very start.
‘… i made a decision to carry out a special military operation.
the purpose of this operation is to protect people who, for eight years now, have been facing humiliation and genocide perpetrated by the kiev regime. … we will seek to demilitarise and denazify ukraine, as well as bring to trial those who perpetrated numerous bloody crimes against civilians…
it is not our plan to occupy the ukrainian territory. we do not intend to impose anything on anyone by force…’ vp
the institute for the study of war’s analysis
shows that russia’s initial campaign failed in its primary objective to conduct “airborne
and mechanized operations to seize kyiv, kharkiv, odesa, and other major ukrainian cities to force
a change of government in ukraine.” those reports came as early as april 2022, suggesting that the
kremlin needed to backtrack on the invasion goals only after a few weeks of fighting.
how can you interpret ‘demilitaris and denazify’, to state the above? have you bothered reading the published papers, with regards russia issuing the un with a letter, in accordance with article 51 (chapter vii) of the un charter, to inform them of their legal right to launch the special military operation?
the only humiliation going on is yours at the lodge being defecacated upon by your masters, every monday night isn’t it
russia would have declared war, not special military operation, if they wanted a quick fix and go in nato style invasion. the whole world, excluding the nazi fanclub of the west, watched in horror at the coup d’etat, back in february 2014. what exactly have ukraine done for their people, since independence from the soviet union, back in 1991? what have ukraine done for their oligarchs, since independence from the soviet union, back in 1991? they even got soros to write their constitution.
thanks to the americans , arms food and support help to defeat nazis
you act like murica carried the soviet union all thru their battles from that little trickle of help, soviets made the most sacrifice hell the americans knew they would take heavy casualties taking berlin so they let the soviets take it, says a lot about americans military.
the us were fully supportive of the nazis, until germany declared war on the us. that was after pearl harbour, when the us declared war on japan, who were friends with germany. germany retaliated and declared war on the us, which led to the us joining the war. the us lost under 500,000 and russia lost 16 million. the first exercise of the cia, was to provide ‘safe passage/witness protection’ to the nazi and bolshevik elite, back in 1947.
thanks to the russians, lincoln was able to keep the british from coming to the south’s aid.
…. and i’m sure they regret it to this day.
seriously upset the city of london, who then went on to assassinate the russian tsar’s and their families. which led to the city of london, creating the bolsheviks that overthrew the russian empire. they have been after the natural resources of russia ever since. as the same script keeps going around in circles. you never hear of the ‘tears of grief’ memorial, that the people of russia sent to new york, following 9/11. russia have been good friends to the us, with zero thanks.
didn’t russia pay back the soviet union debt, around $18 billion, back in 2006? how much money did the us make out of wwii? no other member of the soviet union helped russia pay back the debt. funny that, how russia paid it all back, with zero help from the other 15 members, including ukraine and with zero thanks.
what happened to the nafo fairy boiler rooms, recruitment issues & having to resort to ai chatbots now? why don’t they just grab more volunteers off the streets, like ukraine’s dog catchers do?
usaid stopped funding them. even trumps broken clockworks are right twice a day.
usaid funding got closed down. guess they are looking for somebody else to pick up the bills.
truly a worthy and spectacular celebration event for so many who gave their lives 🫡.
bs. they had no choice if they tried to avoid conscription they’d be shot on the spot
do you mean like zelensky and dragging people into vehicles?
everyone defends their own country when an outsider is invading. goes back to the oldest form of human behavior: tribalism.
ukraine isn’t a country. it’s one of the premier kleptocracy’s in the world, now garnished with neonazism.
you projecting the actions of ukraine onto russia?
they were friggin communists butchers. robbers murderers. dead **it adolf asked for it every flippin german knew they could never beat russia and defend themselves against the west too it was suicide and everyone knows it it was all intentional hitler was a traitor to the german people allegedly imo and every other protestants in europe.
that jenkem is proving to be a tough one for you to put down.
is that your specialty ‘a compartive analysis of butchery under communism, fascism and neoconniving liberalism?’
if not for hitler, there would be no israel.
what a foolish waste of resources.
would you say that if it was poland or ukraine, trying something similar, if only they had the toys?
how is the “3 days special operation” going? 🇷🇺=🏃♂️🤡 😆😆😆
lame post. 😴😪 come up with something new.
how is the eleven years ato going?
poroshenko keeps sending zelensky notes from his prison cell, telling him: “it’s our children that are supposed to be dancing in the streets and theirs that are huddling in damp basements, not the other way around, you fool!”
general armageddon will be next russian president.
putin free ukraina
general armageddon will free germany after putin.
