After US missile strikes on a Syrian airbase, the US Ambassador to the UN noted that Washington is “prepared to do more” in the Arab country.

Washington is ready for further action in Syria, but hopes that it will not be necessary, US Ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley, said on Friday.

“The United States took a very measured step last night. We are prepared to do more. But we hope that will not be necessary,” Haley said at a meeting of the UN Security Council on Syria.

The US Ambassador to the UN also pointed out that the Iranian government is responsible for what is happening in Syria, as it has been supporting the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad for many years.

“Now, while the Syrian regime is responsible for the chemical weapons attack, it is not the only guilty party. The Iranian government bears a heavy responsibility. It has propped up and shielded Syria’s brutal dictator for years,” she said.

Haley also once again accused Russia of the situation in Syria, as it had not reacted to “crimes against humanity,” committed by the Syrian President.

“The Russian government also bears considerable responsibility. Every time Assad has crossed the line of human decency, Russia has stood beside him,” the US Ambassador said.

According to Haley, Russia’s support only strengthens the “Assad regime.”

At the same time, Russia’s Deputy Ambassador to the UN, Vladimir Safronkov, called on the US to stop its aggression in Syria and start to fight against terrorism.

On Friday, the UN Security Council held a special meeting in connection with a missile strike, carried out by the US on an airbase in Syria. The meeting was held in an open mode by a decision of the US, which is now the chairman of the UN Security Council.

On the night of Friday, the US struck the Ash Sha’irat airbase, located in the Syrian province of Homs, prooflessly claiming that a chemical attack had been conducted from the base in the province of Idlib. According to the Pentagon, in total, 59 missiles were fired. The Homs’ governor said that seven people were killed: five servicemen and two civilians from a village, located near the airbase. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, two Syrian servicemen were missing, four were killed and six others suffered burns during extinguishing of the fires. The Syrian Armed Forces said that ten Syrian servicemen were killed.

The Russian Defense Ministry also reported that a warehouse with material-and-technical stuff, an educational building, a canteen, six Mig-23 aircraft, which were in repair hangars, as well as a radar station, were destroyed in the attack. A correspondent of the RIA Novosti news agency reported from the scene that some part of the aircraft, including five fighter jets, was undamaged, as well as a runway remained whole, while eight hangars with equipment were destroyed.

Samantha Powers got a new wig and a marginally better makeup artist.

Long live Zionism

Dienekes

Someone need to strike this bitch.

cortisol

Hopefully Russia suspends deconflict line as long as this ziobitch, or any other like minded candidate is in the UN.

Barba_Papa

Thing is though, Israel has got nukes and also a very itchy trigger finger. And a leader with a, one could call it insane by some, viewpoint who would love nothing more then an excuse to go to war with Iran. At the very least its proxies in Syria and Lebanon.

Why not make Israel’s stoge more nervous instead. Send some more SA-300/400 batteries to Syria, declare a no flight zone and start painting American aircraft with surface to air radars. Let them know they can be hit at any moment.

Or maybe even better, put those fabled hackers to work and release a shitload of evidence that they were responsible for Trump winning the elections? Make him fight for his political life instead of playing neo-con abroad?

cortisol

Good idea. Spilling evidence of helping Trump win would throw the liberals and MSM into complete disarray. They will be paralyzed by the paradox because they don’t know what to do – on one hand they now have evidence to get Trump out, but if they do that they are willingly playing to the Russian plot. Maybe their brain will malfunction and burn out as a result.

Mr. Perfect

Great idea. Keep it suspended while we obliterate the Russians as they cry for help.

John Marks

More strikes? Without any proof of responsibility?
This would be declaring war.
America seems to be back in Salem, 1693: guilty until proven innocent.

Valery Grigoryev

Yes.
“Guilty until proven innocent” in XXI century…

Duhitar

Yes, guilty until proven innocent, but we’re not going to give you a trial so you can declare your innocence. No justice for you!

Haley also once again accused Russia of the situation in Syria, as it had not reacted to “crimes against humanity,” committed by the Syrian President.

note : 1.000.000 people that we killed in iraq while we searched for WMD based on false accusation and we found nothing in the end………… is NOT “crimes against humanity,”
it’s the informant that gave us false information crime

Mr. Perfect

You realize that the 1 million number is heavily exaggerated, right? Also, more than 68% of those “killed” were the result of sanctions and Saddam and not direct conflict?

Real Anti-Racist Action

Look at who has become Trumps new (((inner circle))) since Bannon has been pushed out by (((Jared Kushner)))). Take it from an Israeli news paper which exposes what really happened to Trump and the White House over just the past few weeks. SEE BELOW LINK:

NeoLeo

Hey Nikki are you going to show photos of dead children that your ‘very measured step’ KILLED yesterday, maybe you should look at their disfigured, burned corpses, maybe you should show YOUR victims in the UN? No? Not enough for you, you need to kill some more?

Dod Grile

We see it is amateur hour over at the Franz Liebkind-Max Bialystock Geo-Poly Institute. Nikki Haley and all the rest of the Hitlerettes are about to don their black leather dirndls and goosestep into a rousing rendition of “Spring Time for Hitler.” Make Eva proud!

Barba_Papa

Now THAT would be totally awesome to see. :)

I say first give this evil, delusional witch a sandwich. She looks like a brain-damaged, emaciated, mumbo-jumbo mumbling crack addict from the Bronx.

Any use of the phrase “war porn” is automatically deleted by the Independent and, of course, the Grauniad seldom allows comment on Syria anyway.
Why this sensitivity to “war porn”? It is one of the jihadis’ main propaganda weapons. Nikki Haley used it at the UN and Trump said it was what changed his mind.
Is Wall Street frightened the world may learn it’s being manipulated by war porn?

goingbrokes

US Ambassador to the UN, Nimrata Randhawa (aka Nikki Haley), latest neocon puppet with a nice face. She should be properly called the neocon Ambassador to the UN because she does not represent US really.

Thegr8rambino

i wish she would drop dead tomorrow, this nikki haley bitch. let us all hope and pray for this, as her actions in the UN do nothing but instigate war and death throughout the world

John Marks

Does Haley decide US foreign policy?
Or is she taking instructions from Kushner?

Thegr8rambino

My money is on kushner telling her what to do. That motherfucker doesn’t belong anywhere near the white house or in government PERIOD!

Mr. Perfect

Good. Fuck the Syrian military and Russia.
