US-led Coalition Bombs Deir Ezzor 2nd Time in September (Photos)

The US-led coalition’s air power has bombed areas near the Syrian government-controlled city of Deir Ezzor 2nd time in September, reports said on September 27.

The coalition’s warplanes destroyed the Political Brigade, which crosses the Euphrates river, inside the town of Al-Mayadeen. Al-Mayadeen is located in the southeastern countryside of the Deir Ezzor province.

Earlier this month, the US-led coalition hit the Syrian army’s positions at the Thardeh Mountains outside the city of Deir Ezzor, killing and injuring over 100 Syrian servicemen. The ISIS attack followed the air strike.

That bridge was reportedly first damaged by Syrians in 2014 and then by Russian AF in 2015. Did they miss it both times, or were those reports false or is this some other bridge over Euphrates?

This bridge is in the town of Al-Mayadeen as stated in this article. The bridge in the RT article is in Dier ez-Zur, so yes, it is a different bridge.
I checked on the miracle that is the internet. Thanks for the exercise :)

OMG, another accident. What are the chances???

The Royal Air Force has now preformed over 1,000 air strikes on IS in Iraq and more recently Syria. They spend weeks accessing a target using intelligence gathered from drones, spy planes and satellite. When they sanction an air strike they designate it the HOT target but also designate a COLD target such as a field or desert. Even when the most accurate laser guided smart missile is in flight we have crowd of people looking at the target in the sky and back home. If the HOT target is compromised by the appearance of civilians we redirect the missile to the COLD target. With this level of intelligence about the HOT target and a mission statement to avoid civilian casualties at all costs we have achieved 1,000 air strikes with no civilian casualties. The 66 nation coalition against IS has performed 15,000nair strikes with 55 civilian casualties and two mistakes that are under investigation. What on earth are you talking about trying to make out that the west is as bad as Putin? Please explain yourself as it is precisely your kind of mischievous narrative that young Muslims to join IS.

This is deliberate. Idea is to cut off the eastern side of the river which the US wants to occupy. Syria really needs to seriously consider a No Fly Zone for the US and coalition.

You may be right , a “Sunnistan” , is looking more likely as plan B . The oil fields in that area are a part of the ISIS “liberated territory” . ? The Iraqi’s used floating bridges , a few months back . If bombed , those sections damaged are replaced . They could also be lightly submerged to make detection more difficult .

NATO used the name “Barbarossa” in regards to the buidup near Russian and that Kerry used the term ‘Plan B’. Both of these terms were first used by Nazi Germany and it was a tactic to invade Russia. The Nazis had no Plan B and said it was a major mistake and is the reason that Rusia won.
No coincidence that NATO and Kerry used them to warn Russia.

David Lilley

Make your mind up. Either both of these terms were used by Nazi Germany or the Nazis had no “Plan B”. Where do you get your evidence that NATO used the name “Barbarossa”? Its the last term they would use. The Nazi operation Barbarossa in June 1941 was explicitly about the annihilation of what they considered to be the Russian sub human Slavs. Every man, woman and child they met was killed and their dwellings raised to the ground. The Nazis killed 75% of their Russian POWs. The Stalinists killed 55-65% of the Nazi POWs. I’m deliberately using the terms Nazi and Stalinist rather than German and Russian. We are all the same people that came here from Africa some 55,000 years ago. But the west is different and the Brits only killed 0.03% of their POWs and you can bet that those who did it faced a court marshal. No Nazis said operation Barbarossa was a mistake because you couldn’t find a Nazi to say this after May 1945.

Google it.

Great advise. “Google it” supersedes the previous best advise which was Plato’s “if you have a medical problem see a doctor”. But you must tell me which bit to Google and I will obey your command.

I have read the NEO article and found no mention of NATO calling its operation BARBAROSSA. I have yet to read the larouch article but I am sure I will again be wasting my time.

I have now read the La-Rouche article and found no mention of NATO calling its operation BARBAROSSA.
