They need to cross the river and cut the second supply line as SAA is still far away. Cooperation is needed to alleviate the Deir Ezzor front.

Kurdish ypg is getting free pass lol
They can’t liberate 60 villages that quick
We all know US and ISIS are a buddies

DAESH war is over, greater war is looming, russians will have a choice, put Turkey on it’s place by intimidating with nuclear weapons, or let Syria fall to NATO, which will mean another crucial step on the full spectrum dominance objectives of the globalists. I guess russia will choose confrontation which will lead to another open cold war (which is almost here already), world will divide in two blocks again. There are dark clouds on the horizon…

Thegr8rambino

when was the daesh war over?

Daniel Castro

It is, DAESH lost support, so they are finished, they reached the limit of asymetric warfare, there is no more possible gain without airforce and tank battalions, globalists last shot is trying conventional war using Turkey and YPG, which certainly will be strange as they are enemies, so YPG will have to make a choice and I think they will side with Assad. Still, Turkey with the help of NATO is more than what Assad can resist and Russia will have to side with him setting the stage for a major super power confrontation, unipolar world order has failed, so they are trying to force a retreat to former dual bloack system, as a multpolar world would certainly undermine the west the most.

I think the West ultimately wants this whole area broken up, less of a threat and focused on the emerging nations instead. A Syrian Kurdistan would significantly reduce Syria’s population and wealth (oil fields), as well as provide a natural ally for Israel, both being more forward thinking in terms of equality as well as both being surrounded by enemies. No-one seems to be talking about this but I think a Turkish Kurdistan could emerge, I don’t know why everyone’s staying so quiet on Erdogan’s war on Turkey’s Kurds, flattening their towns and cities, it’s more than enough to justify some form of intervention, you’d think. Turkey has a massive population, so reducing that by a quarter would benefit Russia, Syria, Iran and the West too, forcing Erdogan to focus on this new nation and shutting his borders down rather than sending every ‘refugee’ to Europe, where bombers lurk among them. So the Saudis and the other Gulf states gain from weakening Syria, which they want, with possible Iranian Kurdish separation also on the cards, and the Shias/Assad benefit from a hugely hamstrung Turkey.

It will be a messy situation but for both sides to be satisfied, it’s the best of a bad situation, likely to provide little need for further intervention in the area.

Daniel Castro

Breaking up Syria will already be very dangerous, trying to do that with Iran, Irak, Turkey? I don’t see that coming, for me it spells world war…

Looking solely to maps it seems it is a complex situation where Turkey will try to conquer a peace of Syria (or make a turkish puppet state) to avoid the creation of the kurdish state, so it will be up to the kurds to be let alone to fight Turkey (because USA will surely dump them when they’re no longer usefull), or to side with Assad and Russia to fight them, but for that they will have to accept to be an autonomous region within Syria, not a state.

Well, it is too early to tell, I guess there will be a lot of blood before everything is settled, anything can happen.

Contrary to the dreamers on this site, Syria as we knew it is a thing of the past. The Kurds and Turkey especially won’t allow it. The West and the Gulf states won’t allow it. The Kurds already have almost all of the north so it’s already happening. Syria needs that buffer from Turkey too, so they shouldn’t complain too much. Turkey is too belligerent for the north to be Assad’s; he doesn’t have the manpower to defend the entire border as well as the Idlib border too. Turkey has 4 times as many men than Syria without the exhausted army and infrastructure, plus they’re too belligerent. Federalisation is not only inevitable for Syria but vital.

Whether autonomous or independent, the north belongs to the Kurds now, not Assad. Assad will provide plenty of support to them against the Turks, as he wants both sides weakened (albeit the Kurds significantly less so), so it’ll be a proxy war essentially. Perhaps when ISIS is eradicated, Assad will support the Turkish Kurds, give Turkey a taste of their own medicine!

Not A Russian Spy

Everyone turns a blind eye to the Turkey-Kurd situation because everyone wants to be friends with Turkey. They are one of the most geo-politically important countries in the world, and control of the Bosphorus Strait is of vital importance to both the US and Russia.

Also Turkey does a lot of NATO’s dirty work, so there is a lot of leeway for them to get away with stuff that other countries couldn’t.

My theory on their original plan is, Israel was going to take a chunk of SW Syria to move their border closer to Damascus, Turkey was going to take a large chunk of northern Syria (Aleppo, etc), a Kurdish Syria would be established, and then the rest would be New Syria NATO puppet state.

Thegr8rambino

This is all CIA/mossads fault!

Davey Price

Agreed, bullshit springs which we as NATO countries think they need our democracy when its failed here. No regard for what the sovereign population within Libya or Syria wants.
Also it seems to me that two US agencies are working on different ideals in Syria, and both are as destructive as each other.
US needs to pull up and start spending cash inside the states but the military Ind complex is the cash cow for US that’s why “songbird, McCain is always pushing for wars, he’d sell a tow to his mom the horrible fvuk

Thegr8rambino

I’m just hoping the combined might of Russia China and Iran deters them

Davey Price

Amen

NeoLeo

Yep, Al Baghdadi probably dictates his orders from California lol and ISISheep blindly follow his orders… he just acknowledged their defeat in Iraq, I bet soon he is going to be ‘killed’ (another drone assassination without any proof)

Tihar90

I love those conspiracy theories… Why in the world would the West support ISIS ( a convenient word but even the european union cannot agree on a simple subject let alone the whole western world agree to support extremists) ? For petroleum ? You get a lot more oil from a country that hasn’t been leveled by bombs ? Weaken russia and it’s allies ? Maybe, but do the game really worth the price for ”westerncountries” ?

Daniel Castro

Spoken like a true ignorant on geopolitics… Make yourself a favour and refrain from posting on the subject.

PZIVJ1943

So your theory is that that other countries will now risk all over Syria.
I think not. Calmer heads will work things out. Though Erdogan is the wild card

Daniel Castro

They have been risking, Russia is losing men every month or every week on syrian battelfields, USA pretty much lost all credibility in Syria, Turkey lost internal stability, KSA went almost bankrupt trying to punish russia for interfering, so on and so forth. The thing the empire is encroaching, if syria falls now where will they stop? Battlefield can’t get into russian borders and Putin knows it, when it comes to that it will alread be lost, and in fact things are pretty bad since the fall of Lybia, that was a huge mistake. You can expect more escalation on Syria, wich is so sad for the pupulation.

Davey Price

Totally agree, some ppl just keep digging no matter the proof

Tihar90

I beg you then give me your point of you ? Do you consider logical to say west like it was a single country ? Why everybody seems to loose thir mind about syria’s oil whereas it represent only 0,5% of the world production and it’s not even on the main routes ? Why the ”west” would support ISIS ? Not all western intervention are motivated by greed or power and in this case Bachar start slaughtering it’s own people long before any ”western” interference maybe he created the terrorists himself when he shot down pacific protesters ?

Daniel Castro

It is pointless to argue with someone when it shows zero knowledge on the subject, I’m not being paid to teach you. To answer your first question, yes, by West people generally is talking about NATO member states, and they pretty much act like Washington vassals. This one was for free, for your other questions you should research yourself.

Tihar90

I don’t know where you’re from but that point can be discused for exemple France or Germany refused to invade Irak in 2003 and France didn’t wait for the US to take action in Mali or Libya (for better or worse that’s not the point) Do not mistake the convergence of goals and opinion for vasalization

Daniel Castro

Refusing to invade is quite different than not supporting, every NATO country support all plans designed in the Pentagon one way or another, if they can’t give boots on the gropund they give money, weapons, inteligence, so answering you first post, yes, all NATO countries gave support to ISIS one way or another. As for France, it is NATO official rabid war dog, french people probably have to prove something to themselves.

NeoLeo

Regional vassals almost always go first, Turkey/Saudis (and others) in Syria, France (and others) in Libya, EU/Poland in Ukraine, Germany in ex-yugoslavia… Americans are there to save the day, leadership from behind (as Obama defined it): ‘we didn’t start it, but we have no other option than to intervene!’. Bush was stupid, insanely aggressive, so France and Germany dared to (mildly) disobey, and their leaders were soon replaced with more obedient ones.

Ronald

ISIS , has been stealing Iraqi and Syrian oil for the last five years , and banked two billion doing it . (Kurds found the paper work in Kolbani) All of this happening with USAF , supposedly fighting ISIS . But not bombing those oil truck convoys , oh no . You call it a “conspiracy theory” , only because you have not taken the time to inform yourself of the history .

PZIVJ1943

The ISUS oil market is history.
A black market means that that money is to made by all sides
(including Kurds). This does not make it a conspiracy between nations.
It only means that people are greedy.
PS: coalition took out 1000+ oil trucks?

Davey Price

Hard evidence to prove it, john Kerry admitted it while Obama lifted restrictions on US military hardware in his final days so it could be sold direct to whoever has the cheque
Before they shipped to turkey or Saudi then they armed the rats
Think everyone knows this by now, senate member in US is looking to get this reversed saw it on news myself

NeoLeo

Yeah sure, anything that challenges people to think must be a “conspiracy theory”. Except con.theories about Russia they are all legit and totally mainstream, right? There is no “west”, it’s the USA, the Empire – when they say “jump!” puny NATO vassals say “how high?”…. What they’ve accomplished is to destroy Syria, plus a perpetual war in the region and someone to bomb for how many more decades, without any domestic opposition… and “the price for western countries” is what exactly? Few dead people in France, in exchange for more aggressive police state? ISIS was a brilliant project, a straw man both for domestic and foreign purposes, mickey mouse terrorist organization from bad Hollywood movies, evolution of CIA backed mujahedin back in ’80 (you think that’s also a con. theory? Ask Z.Brzezinski). So “conspiracy theory” or not, still 100x more logical than CNN/State dept. lies BS about some Osama 2.0 elusive James Bond-esque villain released from Gitmo who built a super-army in a few months with his Toyotas and ridiculous green-screen executions….
