On December 30, the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) announced that its fighters had captured the village of Mrasm Gharbi around Hajin town on the eastern bank of the Euphrates River in the southeastern Deir Ezzor countryside. According to the SDF media center, SDF fighters killed 30 fighters of ISIS during their advance.

Moreover, Kurdish sources claimed that the SDF fully secured the Shaitat region north of Hajin after capturing the village of Gharanij. However, these claims are yet to be confirmed by any official source.

The US-led coalition announced in an official statement that its warplanes conducted 23 airstrikes on ISIS in Syria between December 26 and 28. The airstrikes destroyed several positions and vehicles of ISIS, according to the statement.

From its side, the ISIS-linked news agency Amaq, announced that ISIS fighters attacked the positions of the SDF in the village of al-Kishkiyah. ISIS fighters also targeted a gathering of SDF fighters in the village of al-Bahrah with an ATGM, according to Amaq.

Slowly the fight against IS, east of the Euprates, is getting into its last phase while there are hardly any reports anymore of IS vs SAA fights and everyone can see the brotherly cooperation between IS and SAA fighting against HTS in Hama region.

Russian verbal attacks against US socalled cooperation between IS and US lack all proof while SAA IS cooperation is for all to see.

Of course, Assad created ISIS in order to loose half of Syria. XD.

There is no fight of SDF vs ISIS. Only Amaq, CIA agency say so.

ISIS benefits to SDF and USA. That’s why USA created ISIS.

Watson and Agatha Christie will tell you that also.

Who has taken these photos ? SDF ? XD

The US has used every occasion to peddle lies and deceit, so why should the world believe them now?

IMO the ‘war’ on ISIS by the ‘US coalition’ in Syria is nothing more than a handover of territory from one US proxy to another. The clashes are but war games and further training.

The SDF media center says that SDF fighters killed 30 fighters of ISIS. Or maybe they were extracted instead and assimilated into SDF ranks by US handlers. There they would encounter like-minded souls as the SDF has a sizable ISIS terrorist contingent already.

Make way for the next wave of US/nato patsy’s and mercenaries.

Best wishes for 2018 to all readers.

Best wishes to the people and fighters of Northern Syria.

Best wishes to all of good will.

Let us hope that in 2018 these pages will be filled with news about reconstruction, accomplishments and not of destruction, fighting and sectarianism.

Capture ?, I think it is better to say that there was a transference of territory from ISIS to SDF, these picture do not convince anybody in the World.

Trying to focus on positive news, Assadists report as news that 250 refugees returned to DeZ. RCC reports a bridge has been constructed over the Euphrates near Raqqah city, facilitating both transports to and from Raqqah but also from west to east v.v. of the river.
