On February 26, Cesar Sayoc Jr., 56, was arrested in Florida in connection with the investigation of 12 mail bombs sent to Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, George Soros, Cory Booker, John Brennan, Robert De Niro and other top critics of US President Donald Trump. According to NBC News, Sayoc, a resident of Aventura, Florida, is expected to face federal criminal charges.
CNBC says that in 2002 Sayoc was arrested in Florida for allegedly making a threat to throw, place, project or discharge a destructive device. In 2015, he was arrested violating probation in a case in which he first was charged with grand theft and battery. Furthermore, he had previously been arrested in Florida on multiple charges of theft, battery and possession of steroids.
The MSM says Sayoc is a Trump supporter because a white van allegedly belonging to him was plastered with stickers carrying Trump’s name and the presidential seal.

Trump praised security forces for finding and arresting the suspect adding that political violence has no place in America.
“These terrorizing acts are despicable and have no place in our country,” he said. “We must never allow political violence to take root in America. I’m committed to do everything in my power as president to stop it, and to stop it now.”

However, despite the Trump statements criticising these acts, the President’s political opponents and rival media outlets have already been exploiting this situation in own favour. They accuse Trump of fueling radicalism and demonize his supporters.
