On the evening of November 25, both Russian and Ukrainian sources from the front confirmed that the Russian Army took control of the industrial area in the easthern part of Avdeevka.
This industrial zone has been filled with concrete, deep and constantly modified fortifications since 2014. The loss of this area is a serious damage to the Ukrainian defense in the city. The area is located on the hill. Ukrainian forces are retreating to another line of defense, where they take positions that were prepared in advance. The loss of the height in the industrial area will also threaten Ukrainian forces on the southern outskirts of Avdeevka because they came under Russian fire control.

well it isn’t such a tactical retreat. a portion of the ukrainian force’s upright abandoned their positions against orders. nothing tactical when it is done without order and in a somewhat chaotic way. this forced the others to withdrawal. a retreat at the least, partial rout at most. the russians though are bow within the coke plant. taking that would mean the ukrainians have nothing of significant strength to hold within.
