The garrison of the Armed Forces of Ukraine grinded in the town of Velyka Novoselka is doomed. The 110th Mechanised Brigade of the AFU was not allowed to retreat timely. As a result Ukrainian forces fell into a cauldron.
Russian forces launched a successful breakthrough and cut the Ukrainian garrison in two parts. They advanced along the Shaitanka river in the center of the town. As a result Ukrainian forces were surrounded in the southern part of Velyka Novoselka. The Russian military proposed Ukrainians to surrender and leave the cauldron along Azovskaya street towards the village of Blagodatnoe.
The doomed groups of Ukrainian soldiers in the cauldron were give a short time to make a decision and save their lifes before the mop up operations. The Ukrainian military command prohibits Ukrainians to surrender. As always, Ukrainians are forced to resist and sacrifice their lifes for political goals of the Kyiv regime.
Positions of Ukrainian forces in the northern part of the city are not better. The only way out of the town lays along the flooded fields and a river on the northwestern outskirts. This area is also under close Russian fire control. Meanwhile, Russian forces advance along the streets from all directions.
The pincer grip in and around the town is tightening. The Russian military is yet to secure and reinforce its control in the center of Velyka Novoselka but Ukrainian defense was ruined and the separate groups of Ukrainian soldiers have no chance to change the course of the battle. The 11oth Brigade of the AFU already suffered heavy losses. According to preliminary reports, there are more than 150 of its members killed in battles. This number may drastically increase if the surrounded Ukrainians do not surrender.
