On the night of March 3rd, the Armed Forces of Ukraine attempted new attack on the Russian rear infrastructure. The night strikes were not massive, but Ukrainian forces managed to inflict damage to another Russian rear refinery.

According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, during the past night, seven Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted and destroyed by Russian air defense systems on duty. They included:

  • three UAVs were destroyed in the Lipetsk region,
  • two UAVs in the Rostov region,
  • two UAVs in the Belgorod region.

The Russian military did not report the interception of Ukrainian drones in the rear Republic of Bashkortostan, but the local authorities confirmed a fire at one of the enterprises in the city of Ufa.

The fire broke out on the territory of the oil refinery in the capital of the Republic. The Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports the fire in the area of the combustion furnace. There was no threat to residents of the surrounding areas, and the fire was soon extinguished.

The fire was reportedly caused by strike of Ukrainian kamikaze UAV. The city of Ufa is located more than 1,300 kilometers away from the areas under control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Earlier, Zelensky bragged about the drones capable passing up to 1,500 kilometers in service with the Ukrainian military.

Following the order of their foreign patrons, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue attacks on the Russian rear infrastructure. Ukrainian forces stopped all their attempts to attack Russian military facilities. Ukrainian drones are only targeting civilian infrastructure in order to inflict maximum damage and thwart any possible export from Russia to Europe.

Malcolm Z

that drones only inflict that petrol barrel price is about 75 dollar since 2022..no damage againts russian oil export, otherwise air defense would be deployed around all refineries.

idlib would be a more suitable capital for al qaeda, so it would be right for israel to capture damascus.
