A video, showing a train, fully loaded with military equipment of the Ukrainian Army, moving through Zaporozhye, were published online. The Grad multiple rocket launchers, covered trucks, main guns, combat reconnaissance patrol vehicles and other military hardware were among the transported military hardware.

The train was moving from the right to the left bank of the Dnieper River, presumably in the direction of Donbass.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian side has continued to shell settlements of Donbass – for the past day, the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired the territory of the Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR) with 120-mm mortars five times.

As the Russkaya Vesna information website reported, citing the LPR People’s Militia, on Thursday night, eleven shells were launched from 120-mm mortar from the direction of Popasnaya on the territory of the Pervomaisky mechanical plant and the Federal Emergency Management Agency in Pervomaisk. According to the Defense Ministry of the Republic, the attack resulted in destructions.

Residents of the affected city also added that the night’s shelling damaged a house of an elderly woman. Her house had already come under firing of the Ukrainian Army and has recently been restored under the LPR’s ‘2000’ program. Fortunately, the woman did not suffer.

Meanwhile, the Donetsk news agency reported that the Ukrainian attempt to break through to positions of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) near the villages of Kominternovo and Leninsky ended with the death of 15 foreign mercenaries, while 25 other fighters of the Ukrainian Army were wounded.

According to deputy commander of the Operational Command of the republic, Eduard Basurin, the Ukrainian Armed Forces hired mercenaries from Poland and Georgia due to extremely low training level of Ukrainian soldiers. He also noted that two DPR soldiers were killed and five others were wounded during the battle.

The deputy commander called on the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine (SMM) to give an assessment of the actions of the Ukrainian command, as well as of crimes of the Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group, which led to the deaths of two soldiers and the capture of eight other DPR soldiers on October 8.
