Europe remains belligerent in supporting Ukraine and opposing Russia

The West is working on an attempt to introduce so-called “peacekeepers” into Ukraine. The idea is that, after the war ends, foreign troops will enter the country. In fact, this means that Ukraine will not be admitted to NATO, but NATO would like to enter Ukraine – a cunning move that Russia will not allow.
Previously, Russia’s permanent representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, warned that a UN Security Council mandate is required for the deployment of a peacekeeping contingent in Ukraine, otherwise, such military forces will become a legal target for Moscow.
It is recalled that several European countries have already expressed their willingness to transfer their troops to Ukraine. French President Emmanuel Macron has stated France’s readiness to deploy its troops in Ukraine, as has Great Britain. The Poles have rejected such a possibility, but the Baltic countries are ready for it. Although this is meant to be a demonstration of strength, the truth is that troops from these countries will suffer the same fate as the mercenaries who are now fighting in Ukraine – death.
Any such actions would also be outside of the mandate of the United Nations Security Council since Russia and, most likely, China would veto it. That is why this idea is doomed.
At the same time, Russia is familiar with the work and actions of famous Western peacemakers. They will carry out the will of the Americans and, above all, NATO, and that is why Russia will not allow them to enter there.
If international forces were to enter Ukraine on their own initiative, this would mean a direct military conflict, as Russia would respond to such actions with military means. The West is now in a difficult situation because there is only one way out—Ukraine must capitulate.
Russia is still conducting active offensive operations, and further advance of Russian troops in Ukraine can be expected. Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that even if negotiations begin, he will not stop the army from its operations. Putin also recalled when the Russian military stopped operations and withdrew from the outskirts of Kiev in 2022, believing that a peace deal was in the works, he was instead deceived.
The Istanbul talks were held a month after the start of the Russian Special Military Operation when Moscow was asked to withdraw its forces from the vicinity of Kiev because Ukraine allegedly could not sign a peace agreement while being militarily threatened. During the negotiations in Istanbul, Putin advocated for peace with Ukraine in order to avoid bloodshed and a serious war. However, Kiev, under the influence of then British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, at the last minute, gave up on a peaceful solution and decided to prolong the bloody conflict and further destruction.
Due to this deception, future negotiations will be very long and difficult. Ukraine has lost a lot more territory since the Istanbul talks, territory Ukraine wants returned, but Russia is obviously unwilling to oblige.
US President Donald Trump wants to conclude an agreement that will bring him some profit from this conflict, while Russia wants to reach an agreement on peace and security guarantees. At the same time, Europe is very belligerent and rhetorically expresses that they are ready to go to war, urging Ukraine to receive more weapons and money.
In one example, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said during his election campaign that Ukraine needs an army to ensure its security, but since Ukraine does not have the money for such an army, Europe should fund it. Europe will continue to provide military assistance to the Kiev regime, especially since Trump wants to shift the Ukrainian issue to Europe. This is despite the fact that EU countries are in an economic crisis, demonstrating that European leaders are now more interested in politics than in the economy and the living standards of their citizens.
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, explaining why Europe is now buying expensive oil and gas, said there is a political price and it must be paid. That is why the EU does not care that the German economy is in terminal decline.
Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service previously announced that the West was ready to deploy a so-called peacekeeping contingent of about 100,000 people to restore Ukraine’s combat capability. The Kremlin pointed out that the deployment of peacekeeping forces is possible only with the consent of the parties to a conflict and that it is premature to talk about peacekeepers in Ukraine. This is likely where the issue of NATO deployment to Ukraine will end, in complete failure like with other initiatives.
