On January 15, the UAE claimed that Qatari fighter jets had intercepted its civilian plane en route to Bahrain describing the move as a contravention of international law.
The UAE said that it will take take all necessary measures to protect its civilian aircraft. The UAE General Civil Aviation Authority said that the incident was “a flagrant and dangerous threat to the safety of civil aviation, as well as a blatant violation of international laws and agreements.”
However, a spokesperson for the Qatari Foreign Ministry denied the report in an interview with Al Jazeera TV.
The reports is another indication of the growing tensions between Qatar and the Saudi-led bloc. In June 2017, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt and the UAE accused Qatar of being a state-sponsor of extremist groups and imposed economic sanctions on the country.
Hhhmmm..Turkey and Iran can’t really face off Saudi led block but it could get messy
That’s beyond arguable, assuming Iran and turkey are actually on the same page I think they would have a very real chance.
Possibly even rewriting the boundaries of those nations and bringing a form of democracy to those gulf states and their Monarchist rule.

Bahrain, 49% foreigners, 50% Shias and 1% Sunni royalty to rule it. That place is about as stable as a bottle of nitroglycerin and marbles tied to a monster truck.
Bahrain was the country that had those 300 thousand protesters marching for Democracy not peep out of the US about that. Then they must be daily occurrences there and then again the US have their fleet there, can’t go against your allies no matter how barbaric they are need the base.
