U.S leader announces withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan to be delayed

It’s been more than 14 years since American military engagement started in Afghanistan due to their commitment to fight against Al Qaeda and Taliban regime, after the 9/11 attacks.

On Thursday, Obama officially declared that there´s a new plan to keep troops in Afghan territory since the Armed Forces of that country cannot still be considered strong enough given the latest incidents and combats in diverse regions of the country, such as Kunduz, briefly taken over by Taliban militants.

Obama’s decision has been supported by both, Democrats and Republicans claiming that American troops full withdrawal cannot take place before the stability in Afghanistan is granted, which mainly means that Afghan threats to America are neutralized completely.

It also have been reported that the tasks of American troops in the mentioned country will be out of combat line, but mainly in training and advisory of the afghan army.

The American occupation will continue in 4 localities of the country: Kabul, Bagram, Jalalabad and Kandahar.
