The head of ISIS in Afghanistan “Abu Sayed Orakzai” was killed along with ten of his fighters on August 25 in a U.S. airstrike on his hideout in the district of Khogyani in the eastern province of Nangarhar, according to several Afghan sources.
Deputy spokesperson for Afghanistan’s President Ashraf Ghani confirmed Orakzai’s death in a statement. U.S. military spokesman in Kabul Lt. Col. Martin O’Donnell also confirmed that the U.S. Army targeted a “senior leader of a designated terrorist organization” in Afghanistan on August 25.
“I would also add that the United States unrelentingly continues its counterterrorism efforts against ISIS-K, al-Qaeda, and other regional and international terrorist groups,” O’Donnell said in an official statement, according to FOX NEWS.
Orakzai succeed “Abdul Haseeb Logari,” who was killed last year in a joint raid of U.S. Special Forces and Afghan commandos in the district of Achin in Nangarhar, the stronghold of the terrorist group in Afghanistan.
The assassination of Orakzai is a huge blow to ISIS in Afghanistan, especially that Afghan sources believe that the notorious leader was responsible for a series of bombings that killed and injured hundreds of civilians across the war-torn country.
American friendly fire.
Finally the Ametican Air Force doing something right a change.
dont be naive :)
Who Says He Is Dead?
Yeah I don’t buy a word of it anymore, none of it.
They must Live in a Nightmare when they Return Home….or they are Real Psychopaths that Enjoyed the Massmurdering…& Sign Up for another Round of Extermination….
Or go blackwater. Then I have met the ones who act like asking them about what goes on is like the worst indiscretion a civilian can commit. How dare you? Well A I fucking pay for the whole goddamn mess and B if it was horrible and illegal you should not be helping them cover it up! The brainwashing is quite thorough. I have come to believe they are trained to kill themselves.
Yeah…To get rid of the “Evidence”…
Of all their domestic enemies, veterans are the most dangerous. Irony of comparisons to Hillary. US vets are fully aware of the dangers of saying too much. Whereas she had a full immunity card from day 1. If on average 23 vets a day commit suicide, all of those get some help to do it, ve half our veys.
Or, more accurately to kill ourselves, though not so many dirty tricks did I see, but mine was a slightly more innocent time.
Osama & Elliott Shimon are having Fun at the Bahamas at the moment…
A mistake or he refused an order.
I suspect he was replaced with a new more subservient one from Syria via unmarked helicopters.
Maybe he filed fraudulent CIA expenses claims.
I am thinking the same John. Terrorists by nature are armed brigands and they are notoriously hard to control. This is just a ‘falling out amongst thieves ‘ I think :)
U.S. Forces Afghanistan spokesman Lt. Col. O’Donnell said the CIA, in cooperation with Saudi Intelligence, should have a new Wahhabi ISIS-K leader to replace Orakzai by the end of the month. The new U.S. Forces Afghanistan commander, Gen. Scott Miller, said the replacement could not come soon enough, “We must keep up the head-chopper-on-head-chopper attacks. It’s pretty much all the strategy we have left here.”
“They can usually turn around terrorist leaders in a matter of days,” claimed O’Donnell, “but with Eid and some unrelated paperwork delays at the U.S. State Department, they’re taking longer than usual to deliver the next head head-chopper.”
The U.S. Department of State denied any paperwork delays and instead blamed the Pentagon for killing Orakzai a week ahead of schedule. An unnamed State Department official angrily exclaimed, “Leave it to CENTCOM to f’ck up an ISIS-K leader assassination. Their intel guys can pinpoint a moving Yemeni school bus and fly a 500 lb. bomb through the windshield from 24,000 ft. and a mile away, but they can’t circle the right day on a calendar to kill our… uh, I mean, a contract head-chopper. Time to outsource CENTCOM to Prince’s Blackwater thug army.”
“but they can’t circle the right day on a calendar to kill our… uh, I mean, a contract head-chopper” Sometimes I also get my calendar notes a bit mixed up. LOL
That is a brilliant spoof Paveway.
‘Many a true word is said in Jest’.
Probably an IRS drone … the guy was late filing his DC tax returns.
Probably went rogue and wasn’t following orders.
yes, probably wanted to stop murdering but the uSSa need more murders and destruction of infrastructures for people :)
Fake news to cover up their exposure of acting as Isis air force ,as accused by the Taliban just lately,or just a big mistake.Either way ,they are McCains buddies, and will all eventually join that scumbag in HELL.
If you want to laugh for very long time, you can read this.
Fake news
So…. Let me get this straight… The US has just “killed” one of their mercenary/contractor leaders err… “ISIS terrorist leader” in Afghanistan?
If anyone is actually stupid enough to believe that they just murdered one of their own operatives, I have some pyramids to sell to you!
I am having a clearance sale on clean air. Pretty sure they can weed out the psychopaths and they wind up signing a special contract.
So, i think we can all safely say that Abu Sayed Orakzai has now been airlifted elsewhere for other US purposes. Maybe a nice desk job in nato.
Cycle them through Diego Garcia and on to the next catastrophe. Kinda doubt if they ever rise above field command type assignments unless daddy is an admiral like McCain. I would say death is always at hand but to kill them intentionally would be a bad lesson to those ordered to do so.
