Two more attacks have reportedly targeted bases hosting United States troops in Iraq, the most recent in a series of operations that began in response to the Israeli war on Gaza.

Late on October 21, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, a coalition of Iranian-backed armed factions, said that it had targeted a U.S. base located right next to Erbil International Airport in the northern Kurdistan region with two suicide drones.

Video footage showing the launch of the drones, which appeared to be similar in design to the Iranian-made Ababil-2, were released.

Another attack targeted Ayn al-Assad Air Base in the western province of al-Anbar on October 22. An Iraqi army officer told the Xinhua news agency that two rockets landed in the air base in the early morning hours. The attack caused some minor material losses at the air base, but there were no casualties, according to the officer.

The Islamic Resistance later claimed responsibility for the attack, revealing that the air base was targeted with two suicide drones not rockets.

The United States Central Command, which is responsible for the Middle East, Central and Southern Asia, has not commented on the attacks or acknowledged any losses, so far.

Following the al-Ahli Arab Hospital massacre in Gaza last week, the Islamic Resistance formed a special operation room to support the Strip and began launching attacks with rockets and drones against U.S. bases not only in Iraq, but also in neighboring Syria.

Several U.S. troops were lightly wounded in a drone attack that targeted Ayn al-Assad on October 18. U.S. officials also said after the attack that a civilian contractor died from a heart attack while running towards a shelter during a “false attack” in the air base. More troops were wounded at al-Tanf garrison in southeastern Syria as a result of a drone attack on October 19.

As Israel prepares to invade Gaza, U.S. troops in Iraq and other parts of the Middle East will likely face more attacks. The Pentagon is already preparing for such a possibility by deploying additional air defense systems and preparing more forces for rapid deployment in the region.

lets see a fab-5000 wipe out one of these bases. if its going to escalate anyways theres no reason to beat around the bush and instead nip it in the bud.

actually while we’re at it why not do the same with all the other us bases in the region. enough with the 1984esque tit for tat style attacks that serve no real purpose other than a psychological one

USA the world's bully

yea true. yankees go home! then the violent bullying will stop and there will be peace.
unfortunately if it goes really badly for usrael they will use nukes, as they did in japan 1945, as no one has a nuke deterrent to keep the war conventional. so the resistance has to sap the strength of usrael slowly, without giving them an excuse to go nuclear.

USA the world's bully

until someone gives the resistance formal nuclear deterrence protection, as north korea had from russia in the 1950’s korea war when usa wanted to use nukes again, the resistance cannot escalate too much. the resistance masterminds, whoever they are, are managing escalation well.

For the love of shekels!

oh yeah give nukes to islamic nonstate actors! what could possibly go wrong?! shaddup clown 🤡

end the phaed

north korea has lots of (proven)nukes that can reach israel too.

these hits are lame, its what make usa seem as invincibles where in reality they are anything but(period)
what needs to be done is hit them hard where it hurts their controlled oil fields + machinery untill there is a real result it will be considered these muslim factions are on the cia take for sure, truth as the valour:
