Two more field commanders of the Ahrar al-Sham terrorist group have been killed by the Syrian Army troops during fierce clashes in northern Homs.
The Syrian army soldiers killed two more senior commanders of the Ahrar al-Sham terrorist group during fierce clashes in northern Homs, the Fars news agency reported on Friday.
A lot of terrorists, including Maher al-Tamer and Abu Nabeel Delli, were killed during a large-scale offensive of the Syrian Army troops on Ahrar al-Sham’s positions near the village of al-Ghajar.
The clashes also claimed lives of Ahamd al-Najjar and Khaled Delli, as well as inflicted major damage on Ahrar’s military equipment.
On August 11, the terrorists’ offensive on the village of al-Rayhania, 12km of Homs city, was repelled by the Syrian army forces and their popular allies. All terrorists were killed or wounded during the attack.
“The Syrian army units clashes with a terrorist group which sought to enter al-Rayhania during which all militants were killed or wounded and their weapons and ammunition were destroyed,” a military source said.
“Khalid al-Obaid, the commander of Ahrar al-Talbiseh brigade, and other terrorists named Abu Khalid, Abu Faras and Omar Dari’e were wounded in the clashes,” the source added.
