Turkish Security Forces Arrested 251 Suspected ISIS Members In December

In December 2018, Turkish security forces arrested 251 suspected ISIS members, according to data released by the country’s interior ministry. Throughout 2018, Turkish security forces carried out thousands anti-terrorist operations across the country, but were not able to fully eliminate all cells of the terrorist group, which operated in Turkey.

The country continues to suffer from previous years of the Erdogan government’s foreign policy, which was in fact turned Turkey into a major hub for terrorists (first of all ISIS recruits) moving to Syria.
