On April 28, the Turkish military claimed that its forces had ‘neutralized’ 11 members of the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) and the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) in the Operation Peace Spring area in northeastern Syria.
According to the Turkish side, the strikes were conducted in response to an attempt of YPG and PKK members to attack Turkish Army positions.
