Two Turkish service members were injured on August 9, when Kurdish forces attacked their base in the town of Kimar in southern Afrin with an anti-tank guided missile (ATGM).
Turkey’s Ministry of National Defence said that Kimar attack was carried out by the People’s Protection Units (YPG). However, the so-called Afrin Liberation Forces (ALF) claimed responsibility for the attack, saying that it was a response to the killing of one of its fighters.
According to Syrian opposition sources, Turkish helicopters evacuated the injured soldiers from Afrin’s main football stadium to a hospital in Turkey. A video of the evacuation was released.
In response to the attack, the Turkish military shelled Kurdish-held areas south of Afrin with 127 artillery rounds. The Hawar News Agency (ANHA) said that five civilians, including an infant, were injured as a result.
The ALF stepped up its operations in Afrin and its surroundings recently in a bid to drain Turkish forces occupying the Kurdish Syrian region.
Turkey practice their masters tactics of evacuating terrorists which were injured during Syrian national sovereign sabotaged under Erdodig command.

Not enuff?? ten more
With chopper falling on fat joulani
These Turkeys should be blasted out of the sky with manpads. Turkey is a terrorist sponsor and needs to pay a heavy price for its illegal occupation of Idlib.
But not medical evacuation choppers, that would set a very bad precedent.
But I have to admit my initial thought was the same as yours.
Nobody invited turks to ethnically cleanse, loot and rape in Afrin. Now that they did, they get what they deserve.
If Assad had also supplied the AFL with MANPADS as well as all the TOW’s he has, I’m sure we’d have already seen a few smoking helicopters, so maybe they’ll be added to the wishlist now. BTW you can’t legally shoot medical helicopters, no matter how badly you’d like to, it’s a no no.
Assad’s getting excellent value out of his Kurdish allies, who needs the SDF when we have the ALF, and all for the cheap price of full citizenship rights.
Go SAA, go ALF, now the Turks have two fronts they can die at.
Everyone’s worried about Erdogan’s threat to invade north east Syria and his intentions to occupy more Syrian land, but it should really be Erdogan worrying about the current situation, he has the SAA and Russia west and south of his Olive Branch Idlib rebels, he has the ALF to the south and east of his Euphrates Shield Aleppo rebels, and they’re both killing Turks and rebels alike, and he also has the US and SDF all along his south western border too, and they’re the only ones not killing the Turks and their rebels, and he’s going to go pick a fight with them too, he must be either pretty brave or pretty stupid, or does he have the US in his pocket like everyone seems to think he has, mmm, I don’t think so.
