Syria’s state-run news agency SANA reported on March 14 that Turkish-backed miltiants have been looting properties belonging to locals in northeastern Syria. Earlier, Turkish-backed forces demonstrated similar approaches in the region of Afrin in Syria’s northwest.

Terrorist organizations supported by the Turkish occupation forces continued their criminal practices, stealing locals’ properties in Ras al-Ayn area in Hasaka northwestern countryside.

Local sources told SANA ’s reporter in Hasaka that the Turkish occupation’s terrorist mercenaries increased their robbery of people’s properties in Ras al-Ayn city and the surrounding villages, indicating that they removed the doors of a number of houses and occupied them, in addition to entering some houses while their owners are still in them and stole all their belongings.

The sources added that the Turkish regime’s terrorists set up more checkpoints at the entrance of Ras al-Ayn city and imposed a curfew in the surrounding villages, in addition to sneaking south of the international highway near al-Alia area with the intention of robbing passersby and stealing their possessions and money.

On the other hand, four civilians were injured by the explosion of a landmine planted by the Turkish regime’s terrorist mercenaries near the turnpike of al-Nasseriye village south of Ras al-Ayn.
