Turkish Airstrike on al-Bab Kills 25 Civilians

Encountering stiff resistance of the Islamic State (IS) terrorist group in the town of al-Bab, located in the northeastern Syrian province of Aleppo, in recent times, the Turkish Army less selectively chooses targets for strikes, carried out of its air force and artillery. Turkish aircraft and self-propelled artillery weapons virtually strike urban plazas.

Over the last week, at least 30 local residents lost their lives in attacks of the Turkish Army on al-Bab. An airstrike, carried out on February 16, had the most severe consequences – 25 people were killed by bombs at once: representatives of several families, including seven woman and eleven children. In particular, Abdullhafar Nasani with his wife and four children, Jumana Jamal al-Tawil with 3 children, and Abir Al Shala with 3 children lost their lives in the attack.

Actions of Turkish military are actively used by terrorists in their propaganda. Despite constant bombardments, the Turkish Army cannot take control of al-Bab city already during more than two months.
