Turkey has denied all reports claiming that its observation post in the northwestern part of Syria’s Hama was subjected to a series of airstrikes.

A Turkish security source told the state-run Anadolu Agency on August 28 that the claims of airstrikes on the post “do not reflect the truth.”

The observation post in northwestern Hama is located near the town of Sheir Magher. The post was established last year in the framework of the Astana Process.

Syrian opposition activists, and some news outlets, claimed that Russian or Syrian warplanes carried out a series of airstrikes on the Turkish post’s outskirt. Some sources even went as far as claiming that the airstrike targeted the post itself.

These claims were likely meant to spark a conflict between Russia and Turkey, which are actively cooperating to secure Greater Idlib.

Zionism = EVIL

It is really disgraceful that the SAA can not even take out a WW2 vintage M-48/60 in a hull down position deep inside Syrian territory. The Turkeys can be knocked out with an RPG, let alone a Kornet. It looks like Syria under Russian pressure has accepted the occupation of over 30% of its territory.

You can call me Al

But we saw it on another article, so suck it Erdy.

EveryoneIsBiased

This was obviously all BS.

Those who applauded here dreaming of Syrian/Russian aggression against the Turks, while all other indicators show the Turks are in the stronger position, look pretty foolish. But wishfull thinking is understandable, with the reality looking so fucked up, with Erdogan again getting his will over Syrian interest.

Again that SF spin: “These claims were likely meant to spark a conflict between Russia and Turkey, which are actively to secure Greater Idlib.”

Yeah, Turkey is “securing” Idlib. Sure. Nice how you now change your reporting according to the latest PR line in Russia after giving Erdogan again concessions to stop the SAA advance.
A week ago you wrote the total opposite.
BS.
