Trump Says CIA Director Met With North Korea Leader Last Week

US President Donald Trump tweeted on April 18 that  CIA director Mike Pompeo met with North Korea leader Kim Jong Un in North Korea last week.

Trump’s tweet de-facto confirmed an earlier report by the Washington Post about this “secret” meeting.  The top-secret mission came soon after Pompeo was nominated to be US Secretary of State.

President Trump said during a press conference with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on April 17 that that US North Korean have been engaged in “high-level” talks.

Washignton “has started talking to North Korea directly,” Trump said. “We’ve had direct talks at very high levels, extremely high levels with North Korea.”

Earlier, South Korea passed an alleged personal letter to President Trump from North Korea. According to this letter, the country was allegedly ready to consider “denuclearization” if its safety is guaranteed.

I’m sure North Koreans will trust the US’ guarantee and surrender their only means of security. After all, there’s not a single instance in the history of the US where the US government broke it’s promise, is it?

You’re right! The USA are the most trustworthy and honest country someone can imagine. There is always a fair logic and the usage of international law in each of their decisions! Also their ambassador to the UN is a mentally stable person who is very sympathetic :DD
