On February 24, the United Nations Security Council adopted its first resolution on Ukraine. Since the outbreak of hostilities, the major powers have been unable to agree on a common language. For the West, everything was described in terms such as “Russian aggression”. Russia and China strongly disagreed with this interpretation. After Donald Trump’s return to the White House, Washington’s course has changed. And now the US, Russia and China voted in unison for the de-escalation resolution, without accusing Moscow of “aggressive” actions. But the Security Council vote was far from unanimous. Britain and France abstained. Despite the fact that until the beginning of 2025, both London and Paris repeated word for word all the Russophobic narratives of the United States.

Much has been said and written about US pressure on the European Union. However, the contradictions between the Americans and the British are no less, and in some respects even greater. An indicative marker of the rapid deterioration of relations is Apple’s conflict with the authorities of the United Kingdom. In response to pressure from the British intelligence services, the company is removing the iCloud secure data storage system for users in Britain. Earlier, the intelligence services demanded that all encryption keys be provided. This is far from the first clash of interests. Britain’s ruling Labor Party is demanding that social network X impose censorship against “far-right” content. Elon Musk flatly rejects such demands. Labor threatens fines that could reach up to 10% of X profits.

The cavalry raids of the British authorities on Apple and X are a pressure on the inner circle of Donald Trump.

Tim Cook, Donald Trump

Tim Cook is actually “sworn” to the Republican president, and Ilon Musk acts as the main associate of the head of state and oversees the most important reform to reduce budget expenditures. The White House considers the government of Keir Starmer as an underperforming branch of the US Democratic Party. Frankly speaking, this is how the situation looks from the outside. And it manifests itself in everything, including foreign policy. The British are trying to torpedo Washington’s peace initiatives. Labor does not dare to openly oppose them. For example, they did not veto UN Security Council Resolution 2774, which is neutral on Russia. But London uses all its influence on the Ukrainian government to prevent it from “capitulating” to the Russians.

Britain is not to be underestimated. It was British Prime Minister Boris Johnson who derailed the Istanbul agreements of March 2022. Britain’s influence in Ukraine is enormous. Such key figures in Ukrainian domestic politics as Valeriy Zaluzhny (former commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian armed forces, now ambassador to London) and Kirill Budanov, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Defense Ministry, are associated with British interests. Both occupy the top two positions in opinion polls before a hypothetical election. Even if Trump manages to get Vladimir Zelensky to resign, the current Ukrainian president could be replaced by a Downing Street protégé.

Valeriy Zaluzhny, Kirill Budanov

Trump is clearly irritated by Britain’s attempts to run the show in Ukraine. The American leader bluntly stated in an interview with Fox News: Keir Starmer has done “nothing” to bring about a peaceful resolution to the Eastern European crisis. And American and British spending on military aid to Kiev is disproportionate. According to the most conservative estimates, the US budget spent 8 times more than the UK budget. There are sharp contradictions on a number of other critical issues. London sharply criticizes the White House’s plans to deport Palestinians from Gaza and tries to avoid confrontation with China at all costs. Such behavior does not fit into Trump’s pro-Zionist and Sinophobic foreign policy.

It is also important to note the fundamental ideological differences between Donald Trump’s team and Keir Starmer’s government. The Labour Party advocates a liberal immigration policy, a crackdown on free speech under the guise of “protecting against misinformation,” and support for the so-called “culture wars” against traditional family values. It is not surprising that the Trumpists are betting on their like-minded members of the Reform Party coming to power in Britain. Its leader, Nigel Farage, the “father” of Brexit, is a longtime supporter of the Trumpists. In 2017, the FBI opened an investigation against Farage for supporting Donald Trump’s candidacy in the 2016 presidential election. In 2020, the head of the British right even spoke at campaign rallies in the US in support of Trump. 2024 was no exception. Farage is openly in solidarity with the Republican candidate.

According to a YouGov poll on February 23-24, 2025, 25% of respondents expressed support for the Reform Party. This is an uncontested first place. Conservative Party voters continue to “run” to the Reform Party. The failures in domestic and foreign policy are working against Labor. If on July 4, 2024, 33.6% of the electorate voted for the political force of Keir Starmer, Labor’s rating is now 24%. It has come to the point where the government wants to cancel or postpone the local elections in May. This is drawing sharp criticism not only from the right but also from the left. The Guardian described such a move as “undermining democracy”. The reason for Starmer’s flailing is obvious. In Thurrock, where the cancellation of the vote was announced on the most far-fetched of pretexts, the Reform Party’s share of the vote is as high as 40%.

There is no indication that the rift between the US and the UK will be healed. In fact, the conflict will only escalate. Early general elections are not new to Foggy Albion. Previous snap general elections were held in 2017 and 2019. It is possible to predict the intensification of the domestic political crisis in the United Kingdom. Washington is clearly betting on early elections, as a result of which Nigel Farage will be able to get a large faction in the House of Commons. The British have nothing to oppose American pressure. And four years of Trump’s presidency is too long to just wait it out.

The wandering inbred

boris johnson was the public face of the spoiler raid on the istanbul negotiations, however, we should not ignore the party crashing western banker’s boy, abramovich, and his role in the fiasco. i’m sure those interned azov would have appreciated the i-phones he donated to them.

if you believe everything thats said in utube then you must be naive -btw your data is used there by third parties .

Will

russians are inbred indeed. russians unwittingly keep proving hitler was right about them.

“we knew, during the first world war, a type of russian combatant who was more good-natured than cruel. nowadays, this type no longer exists. bolshevism has completely wiped it out.

asia, what a disquieting reservoir of men! the safety of europe will not be assured until we have driven asia back behind the urals.”

— hitler’s table talk, 1941-1944.

the german version of table talk is more reliable than the english translation.

Will

“no organised russian state must be allowed to exist west of that line. they are brutes, and neither bolshevism nor tsarism makes any difference—they are brutes in a state of nature. the danger would be still greater if this space were to be mongolised. suddenly a wave comes foaming down from asia and surprises a europe benumbed by civilisation and deceived by the illusion of collective security!

since there is no natural protection against such a flood, we must meet it with a living wall. a permanent state of war on the eastern front will help to form a sound race of men, and will prevent us from relapsing into the softness of a europe thrown back upon itself.”

i fail to understand why the russian state-controlled media keeps on comparing ukraine to stephan bandara, when he was arrested and imprisoned by the gestapo? his men targeted polish politicians before ww2, fought germany and soviet occupiers during and after ww2.

dunk

your nazi history is lacking will herr hitler authorised stephan to be released from jail and given charge of an ss division to fight against russia which he did.

Allegedly

russias weakening being the motivations. the deaths of germans and russians, protestant lutheran and orthodox the targets

Will

bandara wanted an independent ukrainian fascist state but opposed poland, germany and russia. often resorting to torturing soldiers they captured. apparently partisans/insurgencies existing were and remain a violation of the international laws of warfare that the soviet union did not recognize before world war two.

dunk

since when did your icon herr himmler recognise international law ? mr.putin goes by international law hence the very low ukraine civilians deaths unlike zelensky .

Allegedly

stalin was a trainee jesuit former bank robber joseph stalin grad.

Will

international law is basically a propagandist scam and ironically totalitarian method of removing people’s self-preservation by banning laws meant to ensure racial self-preservation, at least when you factor in the un declaration of human rights is designed as a blueprint for international communist government.

dunk

international law is a means of keeping world peace – the usa binned it – israel refused to recognise it – you go on about race i keep getting an australian guy emailing me who thinks like you his relatives are german .

Allegedly

you are inbred obviously like your royals. boris is, in case you don’t understand historical events, the first ever catholic prime minister of the church of england home if the first evef protestant queen. your obsession with anti semitism blinds you to the facts. allegedly imo

japie

the time has come to expel all war instigators like eu,france and britain who conquer wr without thinking of consequences and risk of nuclear war.because their can hide in under ground bunkers

Allegedly

in fact it was england who set up hiroshima and nagasaki. they exported their atomic programme intentionally to be branded as the manhattan project it wasn’t. it was chatham house. imo

japie

thank you trump you are wise and wake up.the world needs people like you.

Allegedly

the only shame is that the internet has been corripted totally by being given over to a ngo little band of basically boris johnson biden esque crew to match the almost total control over all msm news tv radio film magazine globally. that needs changing really desperately. imo

Dunk

most of the sf posters who are not paid quite rightly blame america for its devious propaganda under biden that its “russian agression ” but what many don’t know is that my uk leaders in westminster are so strident against russia that it leaves its master in the usa looking mild.

Dunk

this isn’t some short term dogma but goes back 100 years or more churchill tried to persuade america after ww2 to attack russia but america knocked it back , russia tried again and again to be friends with britain before hitler started his campaigns but the uk sent 3rd grade diplomats on 2 week train journeys – hitler got a fast plane with uk pm chamberlain.

Allegedly

kind off you’re forgetting russia was the roman off family who were queen victoria’s grand children they assumed she ran england far more than she admitted to them alexandria, really alice on her birth certificate was in fact supposedly vicky favourite grand child its in their relationships the truth lies, not in the news or msm history book’s talking about public servants. imo

Allegedly

you are correct there they’ve blatantly wanted russia under their crown fir centuries they protected and defended lenin, hid him from the russian police when he was the most wanted terrorist in the world they set up bonaparte, from the city to sell off frances loisiana colony in america for 5 cents an acre to fund his russian campaign that they wanted him to do. etc that’s the basics from. grade 3 social studies

anon

chumpo is pulling the plug on american involvement in ukraine. he is dumping the whole failed project on the eu/ uk suckers. they can pay for it – another 20 billion euros of borrowed money they don’t have. stormer and the eu clowns are going to be left with egg all over their faces.

Allegedly

yes and no. england will persist. they left brics so that when russia was conquered and they would time it so that they came in at the end to appear as the victor’s saving the day, then legally they would have no ties to europe in dividing the spoils basically imo.

president trump hasn’t just renamed the gulf to america from the forner german mexican colonies, but he’s renamed some place to mount mc kinley in honour of one of americas least known but most fiercely pro america democracy presidents ever and its an acknowledgement of americas debt to russias tsars because it was tsar alexander who sent the entire russian fleet to defend america from the anglo franc planned joint invasion.
